Reasi: The district Reasi witnessed varied activities as part of Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra, the government’s ambitious initiative to reach out to all the beneficiaries of the flagship schemes.
The event was inaugurated by Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma, who was the chief guest of the function held at auditorium of DC office complex.
Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma attended live telecast of Prime Minister NarendraModi’s interaction with the beneficiaries of central government schemes from across the country in auditorium of DC office complex.
The event was held as part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra which received warm welcome in the village panchayat. VBSY is being undertaken across the country to attain saturation of flagship schemes of the government by ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach all targeted beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
To enhance public awareness and facilitate community engagement, various government departments including Agriculture, Horticulture, Health, Animal Husbandry, Handloom and Handicraft joined forces to establish informative stalls showcasing their respective schemes.
Jugal Kishore Sharma interacted with the beneficiaries and appreciated their stories of transformation and development and took feedback from the public regarding implementation of the centrally sponsored schemes. He also inspected the stalls set up by different departments and praised their efforts in implementing the schemes effectively. He lauded the departments for achieving saturation of schemes and empowering women under the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM).
Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra witnessed a spectacular display of cultural diversity by Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School Reasi and Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. School Reasi respectively present their captivating performance.
The ‘MeriKahaniMeriZubaani’ segment was particularly impactful, featuring firsthand accounts from beneficiaries sharing their success stories on PM SVANidhi, PM UjjwalaYojana, Ayushman Bharat – PMJAY, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Urban). These narratives highlighted the tangible benefits and positive changes brought about by the government’s welfare progra The schemes have played a crucial role in empowering citizens, enhancing their quality of life, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
The Member of Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma also distributed ayushman Card, Pension Sanction Letters and Kissan Credit Cards to the beneficiaries.
Addressing the gathering, the MP said that the government has launched an initiative aimed at directly engaging citizens at their doorsteps to familiarize them with a plethora of schemes designed to enhance livelihoods and uplift communities. He highlighted the initiative as a pivotal step towards empowering the populace and fostering development across all sections of society.
