Srinagar: Body of a Rajouri man was recovered from river Jhelum in Gadhanjipora area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag on Saturday, officials said.
An official said that the body of the man identified as Rumi Sharma (24) son of Chaman Lal was recovered from river Jhelum by police and locals. “Apparently cause of death is drowning, exact details will be confirmed after medical examination,” he said. He said the body was decomposed and has been sent to SDH Bijbehara for medico-legal formalities
