CUK IT Deptt students visit NSIC

Ganderbal : The Department of IT, Central University of Kashmir (CUK), organised an industrial training programme for the students at the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) in Chennai from 11th of November to 29th of November 2023. Theprogramme was tailored to enhance practical skills and industry knowledge of the students and proved to be a wonderful experience for them.
During their tour to NSIC, the students visited the state-of-the-art LG Lab and AI Lab, immersing themselves in the latest advancements in technology. Under the mentorship of seasoned professionals, the students not only deepened their understanding of cybersecurity, but also gained hands-on expertise crucial for the evolving digital landscape.
The department thanked the NSIC for facilitating the visit, and ensuring that students are well-equipped for the challenges and opportunities in the realm of cybersecurity and emerging technologies. The department also expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A Ravinder Nath and Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Shahid Rasool, for their unflinching support.
