In these Panchayats, the program commenced with Pledge ceremonies. The earnest message of the Hon’ble Prime Minister set the tone for the Yatra’s objectives. Showcasing the transformative power of drone technology in agriculture and allied activities remained the main attraction of the events at all the venues.
Officers and field functionaries from different government departments actively engaged with the public, creating awareness about welfare schemes at stalls set up at the VBSY venues. Under the banner of ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani,’ beneficiaries of different schemes shared their success stories, adding a personal touch to the transformative impact of these initiatives.
Furthermore, local residents had the opportunity to access healthcare services, including screenings for various ailments and free medicines, through various health camps conducted during these events.
Till date 350 Panchayats, out of total 385 Panchayats of the district have been covered under the VBSY which has made a significant impact in the lives of many people in the district. Residents of far-flung areas of Kupwara district have expressed their appreciation for the government’s efforts to reach out to them.
