Block Diwas meeting addresses numerous Community Grievances at Chingam

Kishtwar : A mega weekly Block Diwas outreach program was held in Chigam area to address the public issues, the other day.
The pivotal grievance redressal program was presided over by SDM Chatroo, Shokat Hayat Mattoo, who lent an attentive ear to the array of issues presented by the locals. Several grievances were resolved on the spot, while others were duly recorded for subsequent deliberation with the concerned authorities.
Sarpanch Chingam A Akhtar Hussain and Sarpanch Chingam B Om Prakash played host to a gathering aimed at redressing various grievances.
At Chingam A, the presence of esteemed members such as Ab Rehman, Bashir Ahmed, and Mohd Akbar alongside PRIs provided a platform for constructive deliberations. Simultaneously, Chingam B saw the participation of Krishan Lal, Noor Din, Sanjay, and the local populace, fostering a comprehensive discussion on pertinent issues concerning both Panchayats.
Key concerns brought to the forefront encompassed matters related to Bonda road boulder clearance, provision of power connections to left out households in Bonda and Janseer, clearance of impediments in the water supply scheme at Janseer, electricity discrepancies at Bonda, urgent replacements of wooden poles at Shangam and Bungam, the imperative need for a 25 kV transformer at Upper Shanpora, infrastructural deficiencies at High School Chingam, network connectivity at Khawra, road surveys at Khawra, and Dangar Nallah road repairs, among several others.
The people further benefited from the presence and contributions of Tehsildar Chatroo, Suman Ji, BDO Inderwal Hitesh Luna, representatives from NHIDCL, and other sectoral officers.
The Block Diwas stands as a testament to the collaborative efforts aimed at fostering development and addressing community concerns, reflecting a concerted commitment towards a brighter future for Chingam and its surrounding areas.
