Baramulla : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) extended its reach into the urban areas of Baramulla, showcasing an impressive level of community engagement and awareness.
The campaign’s extensive movement is aimed to enlighten the public about various ongoing government welfare schemes, which are instrumental in fostering the holistic development of the region.
The ongoing yatra, making its way through Kunzer town within the district, presided by Sub District Magistrate Tangmarg, Syed Altaf attracted substantial public participation and garnered extensive support.
Diverse departments viz. Health, Agriculture, ICDS, Horticulture, Education etc, set up multiple stalls at the Town Hall Kunzer, exhibiting an extensive range of government schemes, services, and facilities accessible for the public’s advantage.
The IEC vans traversing through various wards showcased informative audio-visual content on attached screens, meticulously designed to educate and enlighten the public about the significant beneficiary schemes.
Beneficiaries of diverse schemes also took the stage to narrate their personal experiences, highlighting the life-altering impact these schemes had, emphasizing how these initiatives significantly contributed to the overall betterment of society.
Furthermore, a variety of camps were established, encompassing health-focused initiatives such as tuberculosis screening, blood tests, and informative sessions on sickle cell anemia. Additionally, there were services catering to soil health checks and a diverse range of other essential offerings aimed at meeting the community’s varied needs.

MC B’pora organises VBS Yatra at 5 Wards
Bandipora : The Municipal Council (MC) Bandipora on Wednesday organised the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) in different Urban Local Bodies including wards 1,2,3,4 and 5 of MC Bandipora, where a multitude of impactful events were held.
The program was kick-started with administration of pledge to common masses regarding VBSY.
During the program, various events were conducted, including the heart-touching ‘Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani,’ wherein beneficiaries of government welfare schemes shared their life-changing experiences.
Furthermore, the IEC van, provided by the Government of India, showcased informative short films at all locations to highlight the diverse welfare schemes of the government, such as the PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Svanidhi, and more.
Through the successful execution of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the Municipal Council Bandipora has reinforced its commitment to uplifting communities, amplifying the voices of beneficiaries, and ensuring that essential government welfare schemes are readily accessible to all.

VBS Yatra: Pr. Secy PDD participates in multitude of events at Drabshalla, Kishtwar
Kishtwar : Principal Secretary, Power Development Department (PDD), H. Rajesh Prasad, on Wednesday participated in multitude of events at Drabshalla block here, under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra witnessing overwhelming participation from the local populace.
Commencing the event, the Principal Secretary inspected departmental stalls showcasing the Centrally Sponsored Schemes and providing on-the-spot services for eligible beneficiaries during the Yatra.
The district officers presented the status of implementation of various schemes concerning their respective departments in Drabshalla block and its surrounding panchayats.
ADDC Kishtwar, Sham Lal, highlighted the progress on ongoing VBSY in the district, which has covered 116 Panchayats garnering an overwhelming response from 30,000 citizens across the district till date.
Addressing the inhabitants of Drabshalla, the Principal Secretary emphasized the goal of enrolling potential beneficiaries during the Panchayat-to-Panchayat campaign, targeting saturation of all centrally and state sponsored schemes. He acknowledged the importance of such programs while highlighting the necessity of their effective implementation to ensure entitled beneficiaries at the grassroots level receive their due benefits. He emphasized the comprehensive nature of the program, aiming to reach unreached beneficiaries, create awareness about government schemes, and hear the untold success stories of beneficiaries while gathering valuable feedback.
Underscoring the significance of equitable access to schemes and benefits, the Principal Secretary elaborated how initiatives like the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra aim to bridge the gap between potential beneficiaries and opportunities, fostering inclusive development.
Meanwhile, the Screening of PM’s Message on the IEC Van mounted with Audio Video LED showcased the impact of Citizen Centric Schemes at ground level.
On the occasion, the Sankalp (Pledge) was administered to the participants by the Principal Secretary which resonated with the community commitment in spirit with the PM’s vision of developed India by 2047.
Also, cultural performances by school students added vibrancy to the rally, aligning with VBSY’s theme “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke.”
On the occasion, the interactive sessions with the beneficiaries allowed them to share experiences and provide feedback on existing schemes under “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani”, pivotal in understanding ground realities and enhancing the effectiveness of government initiatives.
During the event, Rajesh Prasad distributed Abhinanadan Patar among PRIs, felicitation certificates, Gas Stoves under Ujjwala Yojna, wheelchairs and sticks from the Social Welfare Department among the beneficiaries.
Among others the Yatra witnessed presence of DDC Councilor Drabshalla-A Ashok Kumar, BDC Chairman Drabshalla, Suraj Singh, DDC Councilor Drabshalla-B, Hansraj Sharma, Dy DEO Naresh Kumar, ACP Kishtwar/District Nodal Officer VBSY, Zakir Hussain Wani, DSWO Kishtwar, Zubair Ahmed Lone, Tehsildar Drabshalla, Irshad Ahmed besides district officers and other concerned officials.

Awareness Prog on ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’ organised at B’pora
Bandipora : The Government Degree College Ajas Bandipora Wednesday successfully organized an awareness programme titled ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’ here.
The event aimed to engage and enlighten the youth about the role they play in shaping the future of the nation.
On the occasion, the presidential address was given by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Parveen Kousar. The address was a beacon of inspiration, highlighting the significance of education and awareness in shaping a progressive and enlightened society.
She emphasized the college’s commitment to nurturing responsible and informed citizens who contribute meaningfully to the nation’s growth.
Earlier, the programme commenced with introductory remarks by Dr. Ashaq Hussain, the Convener of Activities. GDC Chadoora organizes Awareness prog & guide students about Viksit Bharat @2047
Budgam: The NSS unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Chadoora on Wednesday organized an awareness programme within the campus to guide students about Viksit Bharat @2047, the vision to make India a developed nation by 2047, the 100th year of independence.
Students of the college were informed that they are the main stakeholders of the journey ahead, and are required to share their ideas for achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
For capturing student ideas a webpage “Ideas for the Vision of Viksit Bharat@2047” has been developed and students can submit their feedback on mygov.in concerning their vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047. For this the students need to register on MYGOV portal.
The NSS program officer Dr M Mohsin instructed the students regarding the registration process and also informed the students regarding the benefits of providing their active suggestions on the portal.
Students were also informed that the government has announced a cash prize of Rs 5, 3 and 2 lakhs for the top three ideas in five different themes suggested on the portal.

Kupwara : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) a transformative initiative aimed at saturating government schemes continues in frontier Kupwara district with much fervour and enthusiasm amid massive public participation.
During the campaign, around 1.5 lac people and beneficiaries of Kupwara district have been reached-out by the various departments in 340 Panchayats, out of total 385 Panchayats of the district.
The Yatra has made a significant impact on the lives of many people in the district. During the campaign, 42906 people have been screened in Health camps. Similarly, 17462 persons have been screened for TB. 2218 Awards were given to women achievers of the district during the VBSY, 6898 students and 441 local artists were felicitated with awards. 242 Panchayats of the district have been saturated with 100% Ayushman cards.
Different activities were on Wednesday organised under Viksit Bharat Sakalp Yatra in 9 Panchayats of Wavoora block which include; Sever, Thandipora, Shumryal, Surigam, Warnow A, Warnow B, Wanow C, Warnow D, wavoora A and Wavoora B.
The VBSY events saw enthusiastic participation from the community, PRIs and departments. In these Panchayats, the program commenced with the earnest message of the Prime Minister, setting the tone for the Yatra’s objectives.
Pledge ceremonies resonated with commitment as participants vowed to contribute to the transformative journey.
Showcasing the power of drone technology in agriculture and allied activities remained the main attraction of the campaign. Cultural performances by local students added vibrancy to the events displaying the rich folk traditions of the area.
Beneficiaries shared personal stories of how government schemes had positively transformed their lives, echoing the theme ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’.
Residents of far-flung areas of Kupwara district have expressed their appreciation for the government’s efforts to reach out to them.

VBS Yatra: MC Ang extends recognition to beneficiaries of key Govt initiatives
Anantnag : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) currently underway in Anantnag is marking a pivotal chapter in the pursuit of development and empowerment in the district, with MC Anantnag continuing its engagement with the community by extending recognition to the beneficiaries of key government initiatives at Town Hall, here.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, SF Hamid presided over the program and distributed certificates to beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Gram Yojana (Urban), Svaniddhi, and Jal Jeevan Mission.
Notably, appreciation letters were presented to several Gram Panchayats achieving the status of “Har Ghar Jal Panchayat” under Jal Jeevan Mission and ODF Plus under Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) Phase-II.
The event showcased the Department of Agriculture’s efforts with an impressive display of Agriculture spray drones. The DC emphasized the importance of agricultural mechanization tools, urging farmers to embrace schemes from both Central and State Governments to enhance agricultural and horticultural production.
Addressing the gathering, the DC highlighted the significance of the ongoing VBSY campaign in disseminating awareness about various Central Government welfare schemes. He encouraged the farming community to make the most of the available resources, emphasizing the support provided by Heads of Departments in addressing queries.
Furthermore, the DC urged Self Help Groups (SHGs) to explore income-generating schemes, shedding light on Central Government initiatives led by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to ensure 24×7 power, water and road connectivity in all areas through flagship progra

VBS Yatra: DG W&CD, J&K visits Shopian, takes part in Urban Outreach at MC Shopian
Shopian : As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), Mir Tariq Ali, Director General, (DG) Women & Child Development, J&K, Wednesday, during his visit to district Shopian, visited MC Shopian and presided over the day-long function of the nationwide outreach program.
SSP Shopian, Tanushree; Director, Urban Development, Kashmir, Mathoora Masoom also graced the occasion and participated in multifaceted activities.
The urban outreach started on Wednesday at Shopian Municipal Council with the grand function witnessing overwhelming public engagement.
At the outset, DG visited stalls set up by various departments for raising awareness, on spot service delivery, registration of beneficiaries for various services. IEC Vans were put in service also for the awareness of CSS.
The Executive Officer, on the occasion spoke on Urban Development schemes of housing and livelihood generation for urban poor and street vendors.
Nodal Officer, VBSY, Shabir Ahmad Dar highlighted the objectives of the VBSY program. Drone demonstration for agricultural purposes was done on the occasion while the Sankalp Pledge was also administered to all present by ADDC, Shopian, Dr.Nasir Ahmad Lone.
The calendar of VBSY was also released by the dignitaries on the occasion along with beneficiaries of PMAY, Svanidhi schemes sharing their feedback on the effectiveness of these schemes.

Mir Tariq Ali highlighted the significance of VBSY in promoting unity and overall development. He commended the district administration for their efforts in saturating the public welfare schemes.
He said that VBSY, a Central Government initiative has been launched with the aim to aware the general masses about the benefits of various schemes and reach the unreached. He further added that the need of the hour is to give wide publicity to them so that the benefits reach to unreached. Efforts are on to saturate the schemes during the yatra, said Tariq Ali.

Ramban : Secretary, Transport Department, G. Prasanna Ramaswamy on Wednesday spearheaded the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the picturesque Gool Block of Ramban District .

Jammu : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reached Panchayat Badsoo in Block Dansal on Wednesday.
Led by Block Development Officer Joni Kumar, the VBSY Van displayed the Prime Minister’s message alongside achievements under various government schemes in Badsoo village.
Representatives from different departments set up stalls, distributed pamphlets and posters and showcased informative exhibitions.
Zonal Incharge Cultural Cell M.K. Bhat, Incharge of Govt High School Badsoo Pritam Atri, Staff of Rural Development Department, Sarpanch Yasmin Akhter and Ex PRI members actively participated, highlighting the program’s significance.

GDC Hiranagar releases Newsletter, Journal covers gamut of activities under Viksit Bharat @47
Kathua: GLDM Government Degree College Hiranagar released its Newsletter (Quality Reporter) for the months October to December, 2023 under the patronage of Principal, Dr. Pragya Khanna.
The newsletter’ Quality Reporter’(QR) of the college covers various activities conducted by various departments of the college, National Service Scheme(NSS) Institution Innovation council (IIC) , Eco Club, Red Ribbon club etc.
The QR was typeset and compiled by Mahima Sharma under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Convener IQAC.
The main highlights of the issue of QR were- Two days International Conference entitled Interdisciplinary Probabilities in Music, Ten days skill Development program for students in collaboration with Bombay stock exchange, Constitution Day celebrations, Vigilance Awareness week, Wildlife conservation Week, Gandhi Jayanti celebrations. These programs were conducted under the banner of Viksit Bharat @2047.
Principal Dr. Pragya Khanna apprised the faculty and encouraged them to conduct more events in future beneficial for students in particular and institution in general.
Senior faculty members Prof. Bindu Sharma, Dr. PoonamKamotra, Dr. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Anupma Arora, Prof. RakeshSharma, and Prof. Gurdyal along with all members of IQAC also graced the occasion.

GDC Kathua organises “Wealth Out of Waste.” activity under Viksit Bharat@2047
Kathua : Under the aegis of Viksit Bharat@2047, Department of Environmental Sciences of Govt. Degree College Kathua, organised an exhibition on the theme “Wealth Out of Waste.” The event was organised under the guidance of Prof. Seema Mir, Principal of the college.
This initiative aligns seamlessly with the national movement, Viksit Bharat@2047, which envisions a holistic and sustainable India by 2047.
Around 40 students participated in the event and displayed artistic creations made from recycled materials. The motive of the activity is to inculcate the values like preservation, recycling, reuse, reduce etc. in the young hearts and minds of the students.
The event was an effort towards fostering sustainable practices and environmental consciousness among students and to promoting innovative solutions for waste management by encouraging the students and community to play an active role in building a greener and cleaner future.
The event was coordinated by Prof. Surbhi Gupta and Prof.Arvind Kumar faculty members of Environmental Sciences.
Prof. Arvind Kumar briefed the students about the role of sustainability in the present scenario and how each one of us can contribute in this noble cause Prof.
Principal Seema Mir appreciated the effort and congratulated the students and urged them to register themselves on the www.mygov.in and share their ideas for Viksit Bharat.

GDC Mahanpur organises seminar on Viksit Bharat @2047
Kathua : NSS Unit of Government Degree College Mahanpur on Wednesday organised a seminar on Viksit Bharat @2047. The initiative, held under the guidance of Principal, Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, aimed to engage students in the vision of a developed India by 2047.
Dr. Sangeeta Sudan emphasized the pivotal role of youth in shaping India’s future. She expressed her belief that the 21st century belongs to India, and the nation’s youth will play a critical role in propelling it towards a bright and prosperous future.
As many as 50 students participated in the seminar.
Staff members present were Dr. Balbinder Singh, Prof . Mohinder, Prof .Rupalee, Prof.Suman Dr. Nishu, Sourabh Dutta, Dr. Hilal Ahmed Bhat, Dr. Mohammed Sardar Bhatti and Dr. Ajay Singh Manhas along with Non teaching staff .

Rajouri : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is making significant strides in Rajouri by spearheading the implementation of the government schemes and fostering comprehensive development in the district. The initiative has fostered positive changes in Rajouri by reaching underserved areas and ensuring the effective execution of government programs, ultimately improving the lives of its residents.
To effectively communicate and raise awareness about these initiatives, an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van has been deployed as an integral part of the Yatra. This mobile communication platform has played a crucial role in engaging with local communities and equipping them with the necessary knowledge to benefit from government schemes.
The VBSY has achieved remarkable success in implementing the government schemes, designed to enhance the quality of life and provide essential services. As a result, the community has experienced tangible benefits and witnessed positive changes in their daily life.
The VBSY IEC vans on Wednesday traveled through the panchayats of Fatehpur Khass, Rehtal, Chowdhury Nar, Dhanore Tindian, Dhanore Gorsian, Ujhan-A, Ujhan-B and Ujhan-C of Rajouri and Darhal blocks.
The impact of the Yatra can be seen in improved access to healthcare, education, and basic amenities, as well as overall progress in Rajouri District. This initiative has been meticulously planned and executed to align with the core objective of holistic development, leaving a lasting and positive impact on the community.

VBS Yatra: IEC Van Traverses through panchayats of Pangrain & Manjakote blocks
Rajouri : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Van on Wednesday traversed through the panchayats of Deri Ralyote Upper, Galhuti Lower, Katarmal, Kakora Middle, Kakora Upper and Kakora Lower of block Pangrain and Manjakote in Rajouri District. The 72-day outreach and awareness campaign aims to promote government schemes and ensure the successful implementation of flagship programs within a specific timeframe.
The program intends to provide the benefits of these schemes to all intended beneficiaries.
The primary objective of the yatra is to disseminate vital information and create awareness about various government schemes, ensuring that every deserving individual or community is well-informed and included.
A key aspect of the yatra is to facilitate direct interaction between the government and the beneficiaries. By sharing personal stories and experiences, this program provides a platform for individuals to voice their needs, concerns, and aspirations. This two-way communication not only helps the government gain a better understanding of the ground realities but also enables the identification and enrollment of potential beneficiaries based on the information gathered during the yatra.
The Viksit Bharat Yatra focuses on a range of schemes targeted at both urban and rural areas. In urban areas, the yatra highlights schemes such as PM Svanidhi, PM Vishwakarma Yojana, PM Mudra Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Start-up India/Stand-up India, Ayushman Bharat, PM Awas Yojana (Urban), SBM (Urban), PM eBus Sewa, AMRUT, PM Bhartiya Jan Aushadi Pariyojana, Ujjala Yojana, Subhagya Yojana, Digital Payment Infrastructure, Khelo India, RCS: UDAN, Vande Bharat Trains, and Amrit Bharat Station scheme. In rural areas, the focus is on schemes such as Ayushman Bharat PMJAY, PMGKAY, DAY-NRLM, PM Awas Yojana Rural, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Samman, PM Vishwakarma, KCC, PM Poshan Abhiyan, JJM, and SVAMITVA.
The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ stands as a firm commitment by the government to build a prosperous and equitable India.
