Awantipora : The Rumi Library, Islamic University of Science and Technology, hosted a one-day workshop focused on Academic Performance Indicators, aimed to empower faculty members and university officers with essential insights into assessing academic performance and fostering educational excellence.
According to a statement issued from Public Relations Office IUST here, Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Lone, University Librarian, inaugurated the workshop by highlighting the significance of Academic Performance Indicators (APIs). In his opening address, Dr. Lone emphasized the pivotal role APIs play in evaluating and enhancing the quality of education, ensuring accountability, and facilitating informed decision-making for the benefit of students and institutions alike. Experts, including Prof. Mufti Mudasir Farooqi, Prof. Sameer Gul, Dr. Sheikh Shueb, and Dr. Fayaz Lone participated in engaging discussion on various aspects of academic performance indicators and their applications in higher education.
