Baramulla : Viskit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) on Monday reached Pattan Muncipal Area of Baramulla, witnessing a remarkable display of community engagement and awareness.
The extensive campaign aimed to illuminate the general public about ongoing government welfare schemes driving the comprehensive development of the region.
Various stalls were set up by different departments at Industrial Institute Pattan showcasing an extensive array of government schemes, services, and facilities available for the public benefit.
The IEC vans journeying across multiple wards Pattan Municipal Area displayed informative audio-visual content about vital beneficiary schemes on screens, enriching the public understanding.
Flagship schemes, including PM KISAN, Vishwakarma, Suraksha Bima Yojna, Jeevan Jyoti, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, JJM, Poshan Abhiyaan and scores of other schemes including welfare, employment and income generation based schemes were highlighted.
Under the initiative “Meri Kahani, Meri Zubaani,” beneficiaries from various schemes shared their firsthand experiences, emphasizing the transformative impact these programs had on their lives. Their stories underscored the substantial contributions of these initiatives to societal betterment.
Additionally, diverse camps were set up, including health camps for TB screening, Blood tests, Sickle Cell Anaemia awareness sessions, soil health checks, and a range of other essential services.
