Budgam : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign which concluded in Budgam on Saturday covered all 296 panchayats in the district.
On the concluding day, Member Parliament (MP) Rajya Sabha, Er. Ghulam Ali Khatana joined the program at Panchayat Halqa Sholipora in Block Budgam.
Advisor (COST), Ministry of Family Welfare GOI, Rajiv Wadhawan also attended the program.
Among others, ADDC Budgam, Dr Akramullah Tak, PRIs, District/ Sectoral officers and others also attended the concluding program.
On the occasion, MP Rajya Sabha visited stalls established by various departments to showcase their products and for awareness generation regarding government schemes and public welfare initiatives.
He also participated in Sankalp pledge ceremony while the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s message on the Yatra’s objectives was conveyed, fostering a deep understanding among the participants.
The MP said that Sankalp IEC vans played a major role in generating awareness of centrally sponsored schemes among the public at their doorsteps.
He underscored the commitment of VBSY to achieve saturation of Government schemes and reaching out to every individual and benefiting every citizen.
With locals overwhelmingly participating in the activities, the events held in all blocks witnessed impressive gatherings.
During the nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the Centre’s flagship schemes, a series of activities including Sankalp pledge ceremonies, sports activities, awareness by concerned officials on their department wise schemes, Telecasting of Prime Minister’s message, screening of movies on schemes and cultural events were held at all venues during the programme.

Participants including school students also took part in skits and other cultural events, on spot quiz competition, singing of Swachata songs and other related programmes during the VBSY campaign.
Women and other achievers were also felicitated for their exemplary work in respective fields during the programme.
Local participants also availed health services including screening for various ailments at health camps conducted at these venues on the occasion.

Sheikh Fayaz visits Pulwama, participates in VBS Yatra events
Pulwama : The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has enthused people of Pulwama district, fostering awareness about government schemes and promoting inclusivity.
As part of this ambitious government initiative, a momentous celebration unfolded at Panchayat Halqa Tahab, which was presided over by Commissioner Secretary Floriculture, Parks, and Gardens, Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad.
The event commenced with inspection of stalls by the Commissioner Secretary, established by various Government departments, showcasing a myriad of benefits accessible to the public. Also, the festivities of the Yatra reached a lively peak with a spirited tug of war among students, infusing a touch of showmanship.
The participants listened to a recorded message of the Prime Minister, reinforcing the principles of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. The Administrative Secretary led a pledge, echoing the vision of development and inclusivity, resonating deeply with the enthusiastic participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Secretary acknowledged the lively participation, emphasizing the Yatra’s mission to saturate Government schemes in the region. He reiterated the commitment towards leaving no one behind, echoing the vision of a developed nation outlined by the Prime Minister.
Sheikh Fayaz emphasized that the Government’s vision through this Yatra is to create awareness among the last in the row and ensure that the benefits of Government schemes reach the unreached.
“The Yatra’s holistic approach has not only empowered individuals through various interventions but has also laid the foundation for sustainable progress. As the Yatra continues to weave its way through Pulwama, it leaves behind a legacy of transformation, symbolizing a brighter and more prosperous future for the entire community”, the Commissioner Secretary maintained.
Under the unique initiative ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,’ beneficiaries shared their stories of transformation through government interventions.
The Social Welfare Department distributed kits under ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’. Besides, calendars and pamphlets were distributed among the participants, underscoring the importance of Government initiatives. And, cultural activities, showcasing the rich heritage of Viksit Bharat, were presented by the talented students.
Representatives from various departments elucidated on their schemes, enlightening the public about available opportunities.
The ceremony concluded with recognition and felicitation of women achievers and individuals contributing to Panchayat development.

VBS Yatra continues across B’pora, reaches different Panchayats
Bandipora : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign Saturday continued across different Panchayats of district Bandipora including Purushai and Sadunara gram panchayats.
The Information, Education and Communication (IEC) van traversed through several villages of these panchayats.
The campaign involves raising public knowledge of government programs with the active engagement of all stakeholders.
During the day, these Panchayats hosted health camps, Sankalp pledges, and outreach activities, in addition to making services available to the general public on-the-spot.
The fundamental goal of this outreach and information distribution effort is to empower residents to become active stakeholders in the country’s development. These panchayats housed success tales of empowerment and collective engagement activities toward a shared vision of national development.
The Yatra tries to reach out to the unreachable population by informing them about various government schemes as well as the procedures for receiving benefits.

VBS Yatra held in far-flung panchayats of Kalaroos block of Kupwara
Kupwara : As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), different events and programs were organized on Saturday at Kalaroos, Kalroos A, Kanipora, Khumryal A, Khumryal B, Khumryal C, Ladah, Lashtyal and Madmadoo panchayats of block Kupwara.
PRIs and officials from different departments, including Agriculture, RD&PR, Health, Animal Husbandary, Sheep Husbandary, Fisheries, PHE, Horticulture, Social Welfare, ICDS, J&K Bank and representatives from various other line departments, actively participated in the events held in different gram Panchayats on Saturday.
Continuing information dissemination and awareness campaign, regarding various centrally sponsored schemes, the IEC vans on Saturday reached various panchayats of Kalaroos. The IEC Vans conveyed Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.
People took the pledge and expressed their commitment for the cause.
During the VBSY, people were seen enthusiastically listening to the recorded message from Prime Minister regarding the nationwide campaign.
Experts from different departments and institutions, held interactive sessions with the locals wherein they are informed about the procedures to avail the welfare schemes of the government.
Under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ beneficiaries of Centrally Sponsored schemes shared their experiences about the benefits they availed after enrolling themselves under various welfare schemes. Beneficiaries urged others to come forward and reap the benefits of schemes.

Anantnag : In a momentous launch ceremony, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) embarked on its transformative journey through the Urban Anantnag, with VBSY function, a key element of the initiative, unfolded at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Ranibagh.
The event served as a platform for engaging discussions, showcasing the community’s dedication to progress. The exchange of ideas and insights laid the groundwork for future initiatives, emphasizing the role of education and community involvement in the development process.

VBSY in Anantnag has been fulfilling its objective as people in large are participating in the IEC programmes and are committed to the vision 2047. In urban areas all the wards will witness VBSY reach in coming days with the aim to come true.

Nazim Zia presides over VBSY, addresses Public Darbar at Dargloon
Poonch : Secretary Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Department, Nazim Zai Khan, on Saturday convened a public darbar besides attending other activities being conducted under ambitious ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalpa Yatra (VBSY) at Dhargloon Block, Balakote,
Secretary along with PRI representatives and Deputy Commissioner, inspected stalls set up by various government departments showcasing schemes related to agriculture, horticulture, health, animal husbandry, social welfare, handicraft, handloom and other wings.
On the occasion, ‘Hamara Sankalp Viksit Bharat’ pledge was taken by the participants and video messages of Prime Minister and other promotional videos were also screened on IEC van in presence of the Commissioner Secretary.
“The Viksit Bharat Sankalpa Yatra extends beyond a mere program; it stands as a commitment to uplift and empower communities,” maintained the Secretary while addressing the gathering on the occasion.
Secretary emphasized the Prime Minister’s vision behind the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) of ensuring widespread awareness among rural masses, reaching the unreached population, and facilitating the utilization of government welfare schemes.
Nazim Zai highlighted the transformative impact of VBSY in fostering development, promoting engagement with government schemes, and achieving saturation under citizen-centric schemes. He fervently motivated the public, urging them to actively avail themselves of the numerous benefits offered through government schemes.
The program featured an array of speakers, including PRIs, DDC members, and BDC members, who addressed the public and raised their issues and concerns.
The Vice Chairman DDC Poonch raised specific issues including completion of Mini Secretariat at Mendhar, PDD workshop for repairing of transformers and other electrical equipments, identification of land for grid station, enhancing wages for daily wagers, drivers for ambulances purchased under DDC/BDC/PRI grants.
Similarly, the Sarpanchs of upper and lower Dargloon demanded Tehsil Complex for Balakote Tehsil, Police Station/Chowki at Dhargloon, Upgradation of PHC with proper medical staff and equipments, improvement in water supply schemes and Dak Bunglow in Balakote Tehsil and other developmental issues.
Deputy Commissioner, Yasin M.Choudhary briefed the Secretary and the gathering about the developmental projects and works undertaken in the area.
Secretary assured that the issues raised by the PRI’s will be addressed and resolved in a phased manner.
Meanwhile, Academy of Art, Culture & Language organized a mesmerising cultural program, captivating the audience with their performances. Furthermore, sports activities were held, providing an opportunity for participants to engage in healthy competition and camaraderie.

Doda : District Doda is currently experiencing a transformative wave through the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. This initiative spans various blocks, including Doda, Dali Udhaynpur, Bhalla, Bhellessa and Gundna with the primary objective of generating awareness about government initiatives aimed at the holistic development of the region.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has left a lasting impact on numerous panchayats including Seel, Kulhand, Shiva, Sherarina, Dugli B, Southa, Tantna, Gundna Chounri and Drai. In pursuance to the endeavour the outreach campaign on Saturday visited Marhi B, Neoch, Chinkah, Khanikot, Hassote Panchayats. Ramban : Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, on Saturday spearheaded Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra – Urban unfolding a vibrant and pulsating awareness event here in Government Model Higher Secondary School.
The Mega event witnessed a fervent Pledge ceremony, where participants committed to the collective endeavor towards making Ramban and the country self-sufficient and self-reliant. With an emphasis on the saturation of centrally sponsored schemes, the District admin radiated a festive aura under the stewardship of the Deputy Commissioner.
Addressing the gathering, the DC underscored the imperativeness of prioritizing quality education for the youth, urging the parents to channel their efforts towards the educational uplift of their wards. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra – Urban unfolded an array of services and benefits, showcasing the government’s commitment to the populace.
A huge number of citizens joined the yatra, which specifically focused on achieving the saturation of flagship government schemes. Deputy Commissioner Chaudhary, accompanied by dignitaries, meticulously inspected stalls representing various departments, including Poshan (ICDS) Horticulture, Labour and Employment, Jal Shakti, and more.

VBS Yatra spurs civic awareness in Khour, Miran Sahib Blocks
Jammu : To disseminate information and promote civic engagement, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra made significant strides in Khour and Miran Sahib blocks on Saturday.
SDM Khour, Anil Kumar Thakur and Tehsildar Monika Sharma spearheaded the Yatra in Municipal Committee Khour (Ward No. 3 and 4). The departments erected stalls, distributed pamphlets and posters, showcased exhibits and emphasised the significance of government schemes such as PMAY(U), Ayushman Bharat Yojana Card and Har Ghar Jal. Cultural programs by students conveyed themes of National Integration and responsible social media usage.
Simultaneously, in Panchayat Bhow and Khour of Block Miran Sahib, a warm welcome greeted the VBSY Van, which showcased a video message from PM Modi, urging citizens to pledge for the country’s progress. Vidya Motan, DDC member Miran Sahib and PRI representatives joined in the welcoming committee.
Cultural performances, including songs, dances, sports events and skits, highlighted local talents. A health camp by the health department offered free screening of TB and NCD, distributing AYUSHMAN CARDS to beneficiaries. Representatives of government departments elucidated various welfare schemes, distributing pamphlets, brochures and answering queries.
Both events facilitated on-spot registration under PM Vishwakarma and other online services. Notably, the public availed free health care services under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Ex-president and sectoral officers were actively present, endorsing the Yatra’s objective of fostering awareness and civic responsibility.

Civic awareness resonates in block Dansal amid VBS Yatra
Jammu : To foster civic engagement and awareness, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra made its mark at panchayats Janakha and Tarah of block Dansal on Saturday.
The Yatra witnessed active participation from Block Development Officer Dansal, Joni Kumar, Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, Manjeet Singh, Zonal Incharge Cultural Cell M.K. Bhat, Sarpanch Siraj Din and ex-PRI members.
Departmental heads set up informative stalls, distributing pamphlets, posters and showcasing exhibitions to underscore the program’s importance. High School Tarah and Middle School Tarah students contributed to the cause by presenting cultural programs featuring debate activities and skits focused on National Integration and responsible social media usage.
The VBSY Van, adorned with flower petals, welcomed attendees and a message from the Prime Minister was prominently displayed, highlighting achievements under various government schemes in the village Tarah. Sectoral officers addressed the audience, spreading awareness about government initiatives, including Health, PMAY(U), social welfare, Ayushman Bharat Yojana Card, Har Ghar Jal Jeevan Mission and more.
Block Development Officer and other sectoral officers actively participated, emphasising the Yatra’s significance in bringing valuable information to the doorstep of the community. VBS Yatra enlightens 198 Panchayats in Udhampur Distt
Udhampur : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a grassroots movement dedicated to foster development and progress, has successfully covered 198 Panchayats across 17 Blocks in the Udhampur district in 21-day journey.
The outreach campaign being conducted under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Saloni Rai, is receiving heartfelt welcome from residents and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). The yatra garnered immense support and enthusiasm as it facilitated the seamless delivery of government services through departmental stalls established at each Panchayat. These stalls effectively disseminated information and guidance on an array of vital schemes being implemented by Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, Social Welfare, Handloom, Handicraft and Rural Development Departments.

VBS Yatra – Day 21 unleashes Transformative Impact in Udhampur Distt
Udhampur : On the 21st day of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a dynamic campaign, fostering transformation and amplifying the reach of government schemes, spanned across 12 pivotal Panchayats in Udhampur District.
Engaging activities unfolded throughout the day in Kosar, Mantalai, Tirshi, Bali Upper, Dhanwalt, Dheeran, Samole, Kambal Danga, Badhole, Panjgrian, Babey, G.S. Banj Panchayats. Rajouri : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Van on Saturday traversed through the panchayats of Moughla and Kalakote including Treru Upper-A, Treru Upper-B, Bathera, Kharak, Sialsui and Khadarian. The 72-day outreach and awareness campaign aims to promote government schemes and ensure the successful implementation of flagship programs within a specific timeframe. The program intends to provide the benefits of these schemes to all the intended beneficiaries.
The primary objective of the yatra is to disseminate vital information and create awareness about various government schemes, ensuring that every deserving individual or community is well-informed and included.
A key aspect of the yatra is to facilitate direct interaction between the government and the beneficiaries. By sharing personal stories and experiences, this program provides a platform for individuals to voice their needs, concerns, and aspirations. The VBSY has achieved remarkable success in implementing various government schemes in Rajouri District. The VBSY IEC vans on Saturday traveled through the panchayats of Argi, Sagote, Nagrota Mehra, Palam, Charan, Thanamang-A and Thanamang-B of Dhangri, Rajouri and Darhal blocks of Rajouri district.

55 Beneficiaries Share Impactful Experiences, 64 Activities witnessed, 10 Health camps conducted, 3934 participants Engage in Sankalp Yatra
Kishtwar : The transformative initiative, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, concluded its journey through Nagseni block on Saturday, covering all 10 accessible gram panchayats.
Spanning the Nagseni block, the Yatra traversed Piyas, Galhar, Bhagna A, Bhagna B, Bhagna C, Bhattan Dimji, Kwar, Cherji, Dool A, and Dool B Panchayats.
The overwhelming community response, with active participation of 3934 individuals reflected invaluable support from PRIs, common masses, and field functionaries of key departments.
Guided by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav, the IEC Van played a central role in disseminating the Prime Minister’s message about Citizen-Centric Schemes and their lasting impact on the masses.
Moreover, 55 beneficiaries shared their experiences under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’, loudly speaking about Yatra’s success in the block.
The impactful journey across 10 Gram Panchayats highlighted a total of 64 activities and familiarised the public with 64 rural schemes. Additionally, 15 cultural performances were presented by local artists and students under the “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke component,” aligning with the Yatra’s spirit.
Recognizing 144 individual achievers, including students and women, the Yatra celebrated their contribution.
The Yatra’s 10 Health Camps addressed community health needs, screening 217 individuals for TB, 97 for Sickle Cell, and conducting NCD screenings for 369 participants.
Facilitating seamless saturation of various schemes, the Yatra offered immediate on-the-spot services and created awareness about government schemes, including Ayushman Bharat Scheme, Jan Dhan, ODF, Digitization of Land Records, and PM Kissan.
Moreover, it distributed 43 Ayushman Golden Cards among beneficiaries, provided 20 KCC cards to farmers, and enrolled 37 beneficiaries online under the PM Ujjwalla scheme.
This leg of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra demonstrated impactful reach and commitment, fostering holistic development and awareness among rural communities at their doorstep. It stands as a testament to dedication in creating a more developed and informed society.
