Kishtwar : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra IEC Van Thursday traversed through 6 more Panchayts of district Kishtwar.
The awareness campaign rolled in Drubeel & Loidhar-B Panchayats of Mughal Maidan Block; Hidyal & Lachadayaram-A Panchayats of Kishtwar Block and Bhattan Dimji & Bhagna-B Panchayats of block Nagseni.
The overwhelming community response underscored its significance as the Yatra received massive support from PRIs, including DDC and BDC members, Sarpanches, Panches, Block Level officers and other field functionaries, contributing significantly to scheduled activities and dispensation of services.
Central to the Yatra’s success was the IEC Van, disseminating the Prime Minister’s message on Centrally Sponsored Schemes and their effective implementation. ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ provided a platform to beneficiaries to share their experiences, enriching the Yatra’s essence.
A total of 42 activities were conducted in presence of 2869 individuals showcasing rural schemes, besides cultural events under the “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke” component by the school students.
The Health camps at all panchayats were conducted during the Yatra catering to the community’s health needs at their doorstep, screening 170 individuals for TB, 53 for Sickle Cell, 263 of non communicable diseases.
Yatra facilitated the seamless saturation of government schemes. As many as 35 Ayushman golden cards and 12 KCC cards were distributed among eligible beneficiaries, while 21 individuals were enrolled under the PM Ujjwala scheme across these locations.
