Awareness dissemination camps held across Srinagar Panchayats under VBSY
Srinagar : As a part of ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a widespread awareness campaign was launched by PHE Department on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner(DC) Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad to disseminate awareness among rural masses and to reach out uncovered beneficiaries.
During the awareness programmes, the Department set up stalls at villages of Khonmoh A, B, C, Balhama A, Balhama B and Panzinara A, Panzinara B, Faqir Gujiri A, Faqir Gujiri B, Dara A, Dara B, Syedpora, Khimber, Theed A, Theed B and Gandtal for creating awareness regarding various issues related to Water Quality Monitoring, e-billing on single window system and other activities related to the Jal Shakti Department.
The appreciation letters/Abhinandan Patra were also distributed, acknowledged by Sarpanch, Pani Samiti members of each rural village of Srinagar District.
Under the events held under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign, (Meri Kahani meri Zubani) short videos of conversation of beneficiaries of Jal Jeevan Mission who shared their experience regarding the benefits of the various Schemes of JJM where under water scarcity issues were redressed in their areas.
