IIM Jammu holds 2 day Entrepreneur Conclave

Jammu : Indian Institute of Management, Jammu, in collaboration with LEAD, is hosting a spectacular two-day event, the Grand Mahotsav 2023 and Entrepreneur Conclave Swavlamban se Swabhiman. The event started on 9th December Saturday and will conclude on 10th Decembe today on Sunday at Gulshan Ground, Police Lines, Gandhi Nagar. This celebration of Swadeshi, Swawlambhan & Sanskriti features a diverse showcase of local products, cuisines, handicrafts, startup ventures, and cultural exhibitions.

The LEAD IIM Jammu Entrepreneur Conclave is designed to foster the spirit of ‘Swawlambhan,’ and ‘Swabhiman’ reflecting its alignment with Startup India, nurturing entrepreneurship, and instilling a sense of self-reliance within the youth and the community. The inaugural ceremony commenced with an engaging AV presentation by LEAD, setting the tone for the festivities, followed by a warm welcome and homage to Bharat Mata. The Mahotsav 2023 was graced by Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Dr. Jitenra Singh, Independent Charge, Govt of India.The event featured Prof. B.S. Sahay., Director, IIM Jammu, Shri Sunil Shah, Director, LEAD, CA Rakesh Gupta, Member, LEAD, Shri Anil K Goel, Independent Director of J & K Bank, Shri R. K Chhibber, Former CEO and Managing Director of J & K Bank, Shri Shakti Munshi, Director of JKSC, Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat, Hon’ble Vice Chairperson of J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board, Dr. Muqbil Burhan, Chairperson of Srinagar Off-Campus at IIM Jammu.

The event also featured entrepreneurs ranging from Pooja Gupta (Nimbark), Shubham Sharma (Kaladi Factory), Mansi Sharma (Manukrishi), Sh. Arjun (Genetico), Vaibhav Sharma (Himalaya 360), Atul Banotra (Rach Smart Solutions), Shivang Satya Gupta (Espa Learn P Ltd.), and Abhimanyu.
