Ganderbal : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) Thursday started in 6 Panchayats of block Wakura of district Ganderbal.
On the occasion, 6 Panchayats of block Wakura were covered under VBSY which included Wakura-A, Wakura-B, Waskoora-A, Waskoora-B, Batwina-A and Batwina-B.
The IEC Vans navigated through these Panchayats equipped with audio-visual facilities engaged residents, and disseminated knowledge on government initiatives. The resonant message from the Prime Minister inspired active participation in the nation’s holistic development.
In these Panchayats beneficiaries shared success stories through “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,” spotlighting the advantages of PMAY Yojna, Ayushman Bharat Schemes, Ujjwala Scheme, KCC, and other flagship programs, expressing gratitude for government initiatives.

1.3 lac people attend prog in 78 Panchayats
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) programme has left an indelible mark on the communities of all blocks of Shopian District.
The campaign was Thursday conducted in Maldair, Narwani, T.Wangam, Heff, Dachoo and Sugan Panchayats of the district amid festive celebrations and appreciable participation of stakeholders.
The initiative aimed at holistic development and community welfare garnered an overwhelming response from residents, signifying a major stride towards uplifting and empowering local communities. More than 1.30 lac people in 72 Panchayat Halqas of the district Shopian have attended the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra till date.
IEC Van, a mobile hub of information, is playing an important role in creating awareness of various centrally sponsored schemes and other welfare schemes meant for the general public. This IEC Van is a dynamic tool for disseminating essential information on Government schemes directly to the people.
Like other parts of the country, people are being given awareness of welfare scheme benefits under PM Kisan Samman, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Garib Kalyan, PM Awas Yojana etc. to reach the vulnerable population with the aim to generate awareness regarding the Government’s schemes, empowering the public with the knowledge and resources essential for their growth.
Besides, multifarious activities are being organized by departments across the panchayats.
VBSY continues across panchayats in B’pora
Continuing information dissemination and awareness campaign regarding various centrally sponsored schemes, the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Van Thursday continued campaigning in different panchayats of the district including, Brar, Garoora, Bonakoot, Gundjahangeer, Gundboon beside Panchayats of Odina.
The IEC Van equipped with multimedia resources, expert speakers, and interactive sessions engaged and educated people about the benefits and application procedures of these schemes.
On the occasion, locals enthusiastically listened to the recorded message from the Prime Minister of India regarding the campaign.
The schemes being publicized include Ayushman Bharat; PMJAY PM Garlb Kalyan Anna Yojana; Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihoods Mission; PM Awas Yojana (Rural); PM Ujjwala Yojana; PM Vishwakarma; PM Kisan Saman; Kisan Credit Card (KCC); PM Poshan Abhiyan; Har Ghar Jal–Jal Jeevan Mission; Survey of villages and mapping with improvised technology in village areas (SVAMITVA); Jan Dhan Yojana; Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana; Suraksha Bima Yojana; Atal Pension Yojana; PM PRANAM; Nano Fertilizer etc.
Experts from different departments and institutions including agriculture, horticulture, J&K Bank, etc , held interactive sessions with the locals wherein they were informed about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
VBS Yatra achieves remarkable Success in Ang
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, continues with resounding success in Anantnag, leaving an indelible mark on the path of progress and development.
The yatra, which commenced from 25th November witnessed more than 80,000 overwhelming participation and garnered widespread support from the local community.
The aim and objective of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was to promote socio-economic development, empower local communities, and foster a spirit of self-reliance. The yatra brought together stakeholders from various sectors, including government officials, community leaders, entrepreneurs, and citizens, to discuss and implement strategies for holistic development. Interactive sessions, workshops, and awareness programmes for various Govt Schemes by different Govt departments were organized for upliftment of the needy people.
Several skill development initiatives were launched during the yatra to equip local residents with the necessary skills for employment and Schemes. Workshops on vocational training, digital literacy, and modern agricultural practices were conducted to empower individuals and enhance their employability.
The yatra played a pivotal role in identifying and addressing crucial infrastructure gaps. Projects related to road development, sanitation, healthcare, and education were initiated to enhance the overall quality of life for the residents of Anantnag. Financial assistance and access to various Govt. Schemes were provided for the development of economically poor people.
District Anantnag has successfully achieved the saturation of Ayushman cards, and the digitization of land records has been accomplished, marking significant milestones in the transformative journey among other various Govt. VBS Yatra covers 22 more Panchayats in Kupwara; mega Event held at Panchayat Halqa Magam
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continues in frontier Kupwara district with massive public participation.
Twenty Two (22) Panchayats of Magam, Nutnoosa and Handwara blocks were covered under VBSY. With this, 217 Panchayats of the district have been covered till date under the campaign in which more than 70,000 people have participated.
A mega event of VBSY was organized on Thursday at Boys Higher Secondary School Magam in Panchayat Halqa Magam B.
BDO Magam administered the Viksit pledge to the officers, PRIs and Public, affirming their commitment to the nation’s holistic development.
Addressing the gathering, the BDO said that each and every individual across the length and breadth of India has to play an active role in making India a developed and self reliant nation by 2047.
He added that India’s current strong Foreign policy is also the outcome of the country’s ‘Atma Nirbharta’.
Mega event of VBSY at Magam B witnessed a massive and enthusiastic response from the public. Participants listened keenly to the recorded message of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. On the occasion, people received information about various government schemes and other initiatives and got themselves enrolled for different services.
Under ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’ beneficiaries of centrally sponsored schemes shared their experiences about the benefits they availed after enrolling themselves under these schemes. They urged others to come forward and reap the benefits of welfare schemes.
Resource Persons of different departments also generated awareness regarding public welfare schemes.
The IEC Vans of VBSY also traversed through various Panchayats to screen Hon’ble Prime Minister’s message and to generate awareness on Central Government’s initiatives for public welfare through movies.
The line departments displayed products and provided on the spot services to the general public at the stalls. Students of local schools took part in skits and cultural events.
Women and other achievers were also felicitated for their exemplary work in respective fields during the programme.
Local participants also availed health services including screening for various ailments at health camps conducted at the mega event.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continued in full swing in Kulgam district on Thursday and reached 9 more Panchayats of Blocks of Kulgam district.
These 9 Panchayats include Wangund, Khudwani, Rehpora, Wanpora, Aamnoo, Chekpora, Laroo, Awgam and Shurat.
The venues presented a festive look with colourful cultural events besides presentation of success stories of beneficiaries, progressive farmers, entrepreneurs and an effective IEC campaign about centrally sponsored schemes.
On the occasion, the PRIs and field functionaries of stakeholder departments spread awareness about government schemes besides Audio-Video sessions through IEC Vans mounted LEDs remained key attractions for the locals.
Officers and officials remained busy in IEC activities at all the Panchayats of the block in an effort to reach the unreached population.
Welfare, employment, insurance, social security and income generation based schemes were highlighted by all departments who had installed stalls.
Block officers and officials from line departments, PRIs, students and locals participated in Viksit Bharat Yatra programmes in aforesaid panchayats, fervently.
Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra campaign continues in Kulgam
Srinagar : In an earnest effort to disseminate crucial information and empower citizens with knowledge about the Central Government’s flagship schemes and programmes, ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalap Yatra’ campaign continues in district Kulgam here on Thursday as well.
During these events, officers of Kulgam Police highlighted various time bound initiatives of J&K Police viz; Emergency response support system, Employee Verification System, Cyber complaints, Safety Portal (for speedy disposal of grievances/complaints), Passport Sewa, Sahuliyat app, etc for the betterment of public service. Besides, stress was also laid on to make the society crime/drug free, for which active participation from public was sought in order to make society better in all aspects.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being undertaken across the country with the aim of attaining saturation of flagship schemes of the government by ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach all targeted beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
Officers attending these events highlighted the role of police in strengthening police-public relations, actions taken against drug peddlers, illegal mining mafias and other offenders. Moreover, to address the grievances of general public, PCPG meetings are being held at every Police Station and Police Post of district Kulgam continuously.
