DC G’bal assess progress of developmental initiatives under R&B Sector, Directs timely completion of each project

Ganderbal : A comprehensive review meeting was conducted Thursday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir to assess the progress of developmental initiatives under the R&B Sector for the fiscal year 2023-24 here at Mini Secretariat, here.
The DC led a detailed evaluation of physical and financial targets related to infrastructure development, upgradation projects, and macadamization processes.
Various sectors, including NABARD, Municipality works, Aspirational Block Development Programme, SDA, WMDA, District Sector, PRI Grants, and education were scrutinized.
The meeting also included a review of the ongoing construction of Transit Accommodation, ULB works, WDMA, and SDA works.
During the meeting, the DC received comprehensive presentations from the Superintending Engineer, highlighting the current status of major developmental projects under various schemes.
Emphasizing the importance of adherence to deadlines, the DC directed officers to ensure timely completion of each project and urged a meticulous daily monitoring of progress.
He stressed the need for an accelerated execution pace, underscoring the significance of completing projects within stipulated time frames while maintaining quality standards. He also called upon officers to work with a vision for the development and welfare of the people.
Shyambir emphasized commitment of the district administration to efficient project management, quality outcomes, and timely delivery for the benefit of the community.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani; Superintending Engineer Circle Ganderbal, Executive Engineer R&B, Executive Engineer SDA, and other concerned officers.
