VBSY campaign goes on in full swing across Kashmir

Events mark impressive public participation in all Panchayat Halqas

Budgam : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign goes on in full swing across the District Budgam.
With locals overwhelmingly participating in the activities, the events held at all Panchayat halqas across Block Sukhnag and others on Wednesday witnessed impressive gatherings.
During the nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the Centre’s flagship schemes, a series of activities including Sankalp pledge ceremonies, sports activities, awareness by concerned officials on their department wise schemes, Telecasting of Prime Minister’s message, screening of movies on schemes and cultural events were held at all venues during the programme.
Aiming at saturation of schemes and flagship programmes, officers and resourceful people from different departments also generated awareness regarding public welfare schemes.
The VBSY Van is also traversing through various Panchayats to screen Hon’ble Prime Minister’s message and screen other movies to generate awareness on Central Government’s initiatives for public welfare.
The line departments also raised awareness on public welfare schemes at stalls with displayed products and provided on spot services to the general public at these stalls.
Participants including school students also took part in skits and other cultural events, on spot quiz competition, singing of Swachata songs and other related programmes.
Women and other achievers were also felicitated for their exemplary work in respective fields during the programme.
Local participants also availed health services including screening for various ailments at health camps conducted at these venues on the occasion.

Ganderbal : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) on Wednesday reached 06 more Panchayats of block Lar to sensitize the people, besides saturating the Centrally Sponsored Schemes in these Panchayats.
On the 12th day, the Yatra traversed 6 Panchayats of block Lar including Chuntwaliwar-A, Watlar-A, Theeru, Khranihama, Repora-A and Barsoo.
IEC Vans received a rousing welcome by PRIs, senior citizens, youth, and local residents on its arrival in these Panchayats.
During the day, officials of line departments engaged people with knowledge enriching audio-video material displayed on big screens mounted on IEC Van. Health camps, Sankalp pledges, and outreach activities were organized, besides services were made available on-the-spot to the common masses.
The people from all walks of life participated in different activities in their respective panchayats. They listened attentively to recorded video messages from the Prime Minister, emphasizing the significance of the campaign.
Beneficiaries, who have availed services, also expressed their experiences under Meri Kahaani Meri Zubaani initiative and extended their gratitude for the seamless services delivery.
Pertinently, the Yatra aims to reach out to the un-served population, making them aware of various Government schemes such as Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Kisan Saman Yojana, Jeevan Joti Bima Yojana, along with the process to avail benefits.

People encouraged to take benefits of Job oriented, welfare schemes
Bandipora : Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) on Wednesday reached 10 more Panchayats of district Bandipora to sensitize the people, besides saturating the Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSSs) in every nook and corner of the district.
IEC Vans received a rousing welcome by PRIs, senior citizens, youth, and local residents on its arrival in these Panchayats. Officials engaged people with knowledge enriching audio-video material displayed on a big screen mounted on an IEC Van.
Nodal Officer IEC Van, Bilal Ahmad Mir, who is also ARTO/DIO Bandipora, informed that the VBSY campaign traversed Panchayat Chattibanday-A, Chattibanday-B, Chattibanday-C, Ahmshreif, Athwatoo, Sunerwani, Sunerwani-B, Baharabad-A, Baharabad-B, and Zalpora in district Bandipora on Wednesday.
The Nodal Officer said, starting on November 15, the Yatra has gained further momentum across Bandipora by covering 161 Panchayats of the district till date. All 43 ULB wards have already been covered by IEC Van so far in the district, he added.
He said that employees of Motor Vehicle Department Bandipora are engaged in the campaign and are working day and night so that a large number of people are saturated under flagship schemes.

Various welfare, employment, insurance, social security and income generation based schemes were highlighted by all departments who had established their departmental stalls.
Block officers and officials from line departments, PRIs, students and locals participated in large numbers in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra programmes in aforesaid Panchayats.
