Reasi: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has been witnessing overwhelming participation across the Panchayats of Reasi District. The special message from the Prime Minister being conveyed through IEC Vans is a real crowd puller and a source of inspiration for the people.
Residents of Channa A, Neasi, Matlote, Manoon, Bhagat, Lamsora panchayats gathered in large numbers to hear the Prime Minister’s words. The message emphasized the importance of community engagement, participation in government schemes, and collective efforts towards holistic development.

Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra reaches Panchayat Bijarni Lower- A
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) camp was on Wednesday held at Panchayat Bijarni Lower A of Block Bhagwah in District Doda to maximize saturation of flagship government schemes and foster community participation in the development process.
On this occasion, the teams were welcomed by the PRI members including Sarpanch Shivali Rana, Naib Sarpanch Amrik Singh, Nambadars and the general public of the area.
The event began by welcoming the IEC Van followed by the opening movie and the Viksit Bharat Pledge was taken by the participants.
During the Yatra, officers and officials continued to inform people about government schemes and interacted with them and other beneficiaries.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from the public, with various government departments showcasing their flagship schemes at stalls, fostering awareness and engagement.
Under Meri Kahani, Meri Zubaani, beneficiaries of different schemes shared their experiences with the people on the occasion. Drone and soil health card demonstrations, health camps for screening of TB, NCD and other on-the-spot services were provided to the locals of Bijarni.
Flagship schemes, including PM KISAN, Vishwakarma, Suraksha Bima Yojna, Jeevan Jyoti, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, JJM, Poshan Abhiyaan and scores of other schemes including welfare, employment and income generation based schemes were highlighted by the department representatives.
The yatra witnessed mass participation of people, PRIs, prominent citizens and the officials of various departments.
Meanwhile, the students of Government High School Bijarni also presented a colorful cultural programme to entertain the audience, which was highly appreciated by all present on the occasion.
The programme was coordinated and managed by Panchayat Secretary, Khalid Najeeb (Nodal Official), which ended on a successful note, whereas Faizan A Tramboo from the Health Department conducted the proceedings of the programme.
VBS Yatra covers five panchayats in Samba District
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra has successfully completed its visit to five panchayats in Samba District, here on Wednesday.
The IEC van of VBSY traversed through five panchayats spanning four blocks viz Panchayat Dagore in Block Nud, Panchayat Chak Salarian in Block Ramgarh, Panchayats Jatwal and Sangwali in Block Ghagwal, and Panchayat Gurha Slathia Upper in Block Vijaypur.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is an ambitious government initiative aimed at spreading awareness and facilitating the implementation of the flagship schemes initiated by the government.
The residents of the panchayats wholeheartedly welcomed the IEC van and actively participated in a wide range of activities and events organized by the VBSY team.
These events included cultural programs, health camps, Aadhar registration, farmers’ guidance, and undertaking the Sankalp pledge. Notably, the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” initiative was a highlight of the events, where beneficiaries shared their inspiring stories of transformation and empowerment through different government schemes.

Particularly, a grand event took place at Panchayat Dagore in Block Nud, where Sh Abhishek Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Samba, graced the occasion as the chief guest. He was accompanied by Additional District Development Commissioner Samba, Rajinder Singh, and Assistant Commissioner Development Samba, Siddharth Dhiman, along with other Officers of the District Administration Samba.
Speaking at the event, DC appreciated the instrumental role played by the IEC van in disseminating information and raising awareness about the various schemes and services available to the rural masses. The DC also took the opportunity to interact with beneficiaries and participants, encouraging them to make the most of the schemes and actively contribute to the development of the district and the nation.

The Channa A, Neasi, Matlote, Manoon, Bhagat and Lamsora Panchayats witnessed a vibrant assembly of local residents. Government officials engaged with the community, raising awareness about various schemes and fostering interaction with beneficiaries.

On the 11th day of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the campaign made significant strides, encompassing 10 more Panchayats in Chenani, Panchari, Dudu, Ramnagar, Udhampur and Majalta Blocks.
This development amplifies the campaign’s impact, covering a total of 84 Panchayats since its launch in the district.
With active engagement from all stakeholders, the campaign is effectively disseminating information about government schemes, fostering awareness among the public.
The day featured health camps, Sankalp pledges, and outreach activities in these Panchayats, providing on-the-spot services to the community. The primary aim of this outreach initiative is to empower citizens as active contributors to the country’s development.
During the day, a series of awareness lectures on various government welfare schemes, free medical camps, and sports activities, creating a comprehensive and impactful approach to community development.
VBS Yatra kicks off with a resounding impact at Block Paddar
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) was on Wednesday initiated in block Paddar of district Kishtwar, as the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Vans arrived at Panchayats Jar and Affani.
This extensive outreach initiative aims to drive awareness and participation in various government schemes, ensuring their optimal reach among targeted beneficiaries within specific timelines. It empowers local communities and emphasizes effective implementation, fostering national progress.
The enthusiastic engagement of DDC member Paddar, Hari Krishan Chauhan, common masses, public representatives, and Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) from adjacent areas underscored strong community support for the nation’s development.
The heart of the Yatra was the IEC Vans navigating through the scenic locales of Jar and Affani in Block Paddar. These mobile information hubs, equipped with cutting-edge audio-visual facilities, engaged residents, and disseminated knowledge on government initiatives.
The resonant message from the Prime Minister inspired active participation in the nation’s holistic development.
Beneficiaries shared success stories through “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,” spotlighting the advantages of PMAY Yojna, Ayushman Bharat Schemes, Ujjwala Scheme, KCC, Soil Health Card, and JKRLM SHG programs, expressing gratitude for government initiatives.
Participants pledged their commitment to “Viksit Sankalp Bharat,” symbolizing their dedication to comprehensive national development and community upliftment.
Led by the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is actively progressing throughout district Kishtwar.
The event at Paddar witnessed diligent attendance from BDOs, Panchayat Secretaries, concerned officers, PRIs, and local populations.
During the Yatra at these Panchayats, distributions of Soil Health Cards, KCC, Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards, Ujjwala Scheme connections, and ATM Cards were conducted by stakeholder departments among beneficiaries.
The cultural performances were also presented by the students of PS Kadhail and BVM Karthie and other schools under the “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke” Campaign.
