Srinagar: The inaugural week of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) has unfolded as a remarkable testament to the collective spirit of over 81000 participants across 168 Gram Panchayats in District Anantnag.
Spanning across all the blocks, including areas with a substantial tribal population, the VBSY has become a vibrant tapestry of empowerment and engagement towards a shared vision of national development and integration.
The VBSY camps have emerged as dynamic hubs of activity, attracting enthusiastic individuals who actively participated in organized events and availed on-the-spot services. Health camps, a cornerstone of the Yatra, have so far witnessed an impressive turnout of 42000 participants. The camps have meticulously screened 10656 individuals for TB, 260 for Sickle Cell Anaemia, and 1500 for NCD.
Notably, 190 individuals have registered for the PM Ujjwala Yojana so far, reinforcing the campaign’s objective to raise awareness about welfare schemes.
The Yatra symbolizes India’s unwavering commitment to development, emphasizing the shared role and responsibility of citizens. Over 540 My Bharat volunteers registered, and a commendable 75000 individuals pledged allegiance to the transformative ‘Sankalp Pledge’. Recognition was extended to noteworthy individuals, including 753 women, 2151 students, 218 local artists, and 301 sports personalities, for their inspiring contributions.
More than a platform for showcasing agricultural development, the Yatra empowered farmers on the second day, featuring 90 drone demonstrations and 129 Soil Health Card demonstrations, actively engaging farmers committed to Natural Farming practices.
Government flagship schemes celebrated remarkable success, with 156 Gram Panchayats achieving 100% Ayushman Card saturation, 136 reaching 100% JJM saturation, and 168 attaining ODF+ status.
Individual success stories are taking center stage, with 2269 beneficiaries presenting ‘Meri Kahani Meri Zubani’, so far and offering poignant testimony to the transformative impact of government schemes in their lives.
The VBSY stands as the largest-ever outreach initiative by the Government of India, aligned with the vision of inclusive development.
It reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the benefits of its schemes reach every citizen, with a steadfast aim for 100% saturation. The Yatra signifies a significant stride towards this goal through meticulous outreach, information dissemination, and empowering citizens to actively participate in the country’s development.
VBSY: 115 Panchayats, 43 ULB wards covered during IEC campaign at B’pora
Around 63000 people, beneficiaries reached out so far during massive campaign
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continues across district Bandipora with much fervour and successful campaigning amid huge public participation. The IEC Van covered 70 percent of total panchayats in the district and 100 percent Urban Local Body wards. During the massive campaign, around 63000 people/beneficiaries of the district have been reached out so far.
The IEC Van traversed through 115 panchayats so far, comprising 70 percent of the total panchayats in the district. All the 43 Urban Local Bodies have already been covered under VBSY, comprising 100 percent of all the ULB wards of the district.
Continuing information dissemination and awareness campaigns regarding various centrally sponsored schemes, the Information, Education and Communication (IEC) continued campaigning in different panchayats and ULB wards of the district.
During the Yatra, people enthusiastically listened to the recorded message from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India regarding the campaign.
The schemes being publicized include Ayushman Bharat; PMJAY PM Garlb Kalyan Anna Yojana; Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana–National Rural Livelihoods Mission; PM Awas Yojana (Rural); PM Ujjwala Yojana; PM Vishwakarma; PM Kisan Saman; Kisan Credit Card (KCC); PM Poshan Abhiyan; Har Ghar Jal–Jal Jeevan Mission; Survey of villages and mapping with improvised technology in village areas (SVAMITVA); Jan Dhan Yojana; Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana; Suraksha Bima Yojana; Atal Pension Yojana; PM PRANAM; Nano Fertilizer etc.
The IEC Van is equipped with multimedia resources, expert speakers, and interactive sessions to engage and educate people about the benefits and application procedures of these schemes.
Experts from different departments and institutions, including agriculture, horticulture, J&K Bank, etc , held interactive sessions with the locals wherein they were informed about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
VBSY transforms Distt Pulwama, ensuring comprehensive Coverage of Govt Schemes
The ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continues its remarkable journey in District Pulwama, reaching the unreached and achieving unprecedented saturation of Government schemes. This transformative initiative, set to unfold across all 190 Panchayats in the District, has already covered approximately half of them, leaving an indelible mark on the local community.
The Yatra, driven by the underlying motive of holistic development, has successfully targeted a population of 100 panchayats in the District. The deployment of an Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) van for awareness has played a pivotal role in ensuring that locals are well-informed about the initiatives.
One of the key achievements of the Yatra is the saturation of various Government schemes, delivering on-the-ground benefits to the community. In addition to the comprehensive coverage of schemes, the Yatra has facilitated on-the-spot services, including health camps. A total of 14,684 individuals have undergone screenings, receiving essential healthcare services.
The Yatra’s impact extends beyond numerical statistics to tangible improvements in the lives of the people in District Pulwama. Through meticulous planning and execution, the initiative has successfully aligned with its core objective, leaving a positive and lasting impact on the community. VBS Yatra continues in full swing at G’bal, 66 Panchayats covered in 11 days
The Viksit Baharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) continues in full swing in district Ganderbal and has reached far-off Panchayats of Block Gund, Kangan and Lar thus covering 66 Panchayats since the launch of campaign.
Six Panchayats of block Lar were covered under VBSY which include Chuntwaliwar-B, Chuntwaliwar-C, Benhama, Manigam-A, Watalbagh and Wahidpora.
The venues presented a festive look with colourful cultural and sports events, Sankalp pledges. Besides presentation of success stories of beneficiaries, progressive farmers, entrepreneurs, on spot registration of beneficiaries and effective IEC campaign about centrally sponsored schemes was also held in these Panchayats.
The IEC vans reached in these Panchayats creating awareness about welfare schemes related to sanitation facilities, essential financial services, electricity connections, PM Ujjwala Yojana, housing for the poor, food security, proper nutrition, reliable healthcare, KCC, PM Vishwakarma, clean drinking water, etc.
A lot of excitement was seen around the VBSY IEC vans, as the villagers from all walks of life thronged these venues of IEC vans to listen to the message of the Hon’ble PM of India and enthusiastically participated in VBSY activities.
VBSY held in 22 Panchayats of Mawar Qalamabad, Qaziabad blocks of Kupwara
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the Centre’s flagship schemes, was on Tuesday organised in 22 Panchayats of Mawar Qalamabad and Qaziabad blocks of Kupwara district.
People in large numbers participated in VBSY in Panchayats: Ringpath A, Kargam, Walrhama A, Renan, Kandi, Adoora, Kalam chakla, Ringpath B, Udipora, Banday, Hangah, Marathgam, Sohipora, Supernagam, Haril, Jeehama, Monbal, Walrama B, Lach, Batgund, Nowgam A and Mawar.
VBSY- a major initiative aimed at saturating the benefits of Central government schemes, witnessed enthusiastic response from PRIs, locals, officers and field functionaries of different government departments who participated in events with enthusiasm on Tuesday.
Participants listened keenly to the recorded message of the Prime Minister of India, emphasizing the campaign’s significance.
As part of the program, participants took the Sankalp pledge, affirming their commitment to the nation’s holistic development.
People of these Panchayats in considerable numbers received information about various government schemes and other initiatives.
During the programme, ‘Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani’ successful beneficiaries of different schemes came forward and shared their experiences about the benefits they availed after enrolling themselves in various centrally sponsored schemes. They equally urged others to reap the benefits of these welfare schemes.
Events, including interaction with progressive farmers, celebration of achievements of GP, felicitation of local achievers, health camps were the integral part of the VBSY.
Simultaneously, a vibrant display of cultural performance presented by local artists and Students of local schools under ‘Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke’ enthralled the participants.

Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign Tuesday reached 13 different Panchayats of district Bandipora.
The panchayats covered by the Information, Education and Communication van include Nadihal-A, Nadihal-B, Nadihal-C, Gundpora, Rampora, Shokbaba, and other panchayats.

VBS Yatra reaches 10 Panchayats of block Frisal, Qaimoo of Kulgam
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign on Tuesday reached 10 more Panchayats of Frisal and Qaimoo blocks gaining further momentum in Kulgam district by covering 99 Panchayats of the district from the date of its launch in the district.

VBS Yatra held at Block Imamsahib of Shopian, Huge number of people participated in the Prog
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) commenced on Tuesday in 6 Panchayat Halqas of Imamsahib block of the district.
These six Panchayats include, K.M. Gund, Kenigam, Losedenew, Nadigam, Sangren and Sugoo of Imam Sahib district Shopian.
During the Yatra, officers and officials continued to aware people about government schemes and interacted with them and other beneficiaries.
Under Meri Kahani, Meri Zubaani, beneficiaries of different schemes shared their experiences with the people on the occasion. Drone and soil health card demonstrations, health camps for screening of TB, Sickle Cell Anaemia and other on spot services were provided to the locals of Imamsahib.
The Officers and officials remained busy in IEC activities at all these Panchayats of the block.
Flagship schemes, including PM KISAN, Vishwakarma, Suraksha Bima Yojna,Jeevan Jyoti, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, JJM, Poshan Abhiyaan and scores of other schemes including welfare, employment and income generation based schemes were highlighted.
The yatra witnessed mass participation of people, PRIs, prominent citizens and the officials of various departments.
