VBS Yatra reaches Gandtal Panchayat Halqa of Srinagar

Srinagar : As a part of ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign on Tuesday reached Gandtal Panchayat Halqa of Block Harwan gaining further momentum in Srinagar District.
Amid active participation of all stakeholders, the campaign is spreading awareness about government schemes among the public.
During the day, District Srinagar ay Gandtal Panchayat Halqa witnessed overwhelming participation of the locals which also included the presence of PRI members. The program started with the welcoming of VBSY van.
On the ocassion, seveal Departments had set up stalls, disseminate information about the different flagship schemes.
The locals were also informed about various Government initiatives.
In order to address organic farming the Officials and Nodal Officers met with progressive farmers and arranged a work shop on Agricultural Operations.
Free Health services were delivered through medical camps. The qualifying beneficiaries received KCC and Ayushman Bharat Cards.
The program was culminated by Block Development officer Harwan, Dr Raja Majid who felicitated Women achievers, Students and local sports persons. The participants made promises in support of Viksit Bharat , which seeks to promote country’s growth.
Pertinently, the Yatra aims to reach out to the unreached population, making them aware of various government schemes such as the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Kisan Saman Yojana, Jeevan Joti Bima Yojana, along with the process to avail benefits.
