Kishtwar admin finalises arrangements for JKSSB Panchayat Secy Exam

Kishtwar : Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. Devansh Yadav on Monday convened a meeting of concerned officers to finalise arrangements for the Panchayat Secretary Examination scheduled to be held on 10th of December 2023 in the district.
During the meeting, it was informed that about 4344 candidates are expected to appear in the Panchayat Secretary examination at 13 centers across the district, while an adequate number of Magistrates, Superintendents, Observers and invigilators have been deployed for the smooth, free and fair conduct of the examination, an.
Dr. Devansh Yadav directed concerned officers to meticulously inspect all examination centers and ensure essential facilities such as heating, drinking water, sanitation, proper lighting,security and basic amenities are in place for the seamless conduct of the Panchayat Secretary Examination.
The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) was directed to formulate a comprehensive route plan, parking facilities and ensure enhanced logistical coordination.
Additionally, the District Treasury Officer (DTO) was instructed to coordinate with police authorities to ensure other safety and security arrangements including CCTV in the strong room.
Police administration was asked to deploy adequate flying squads besides male and female personnel at each centre on the day of exam.
Moreover, the DC emphasized the importance of videography of examination material during the opening and closing procedures, reinforcing transparency and security measures for the Panchayat Secretary Examination. He said that CrPC 144 will be imposed around the 200 Meters radius of every examination center on Exam day.
Besides, a team of magistrates and police administration will conduct the joint inspection on the 9th December at all the centres and ensure that all the arrangements have been placed in for the hassle free conduct of the upcoming exam, informed the DC .
The meeting was attended by SSP Khalil Ahmed Poswal; ADC, Inderjeet Parihar; ACR Varunjeet Singh Charak; SDM Paddar Arun Kumar Badyal; DTO Lokesh Kumar, besides DSWO, DIO, ARTO, CMO, CEO , STO, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti, concerned officers of line departments, GDC Principal and heads of schools where exam is going to be held.
