DC Bla finalises arrangements for JKSSB Panchayat Secy Exams

Baramulla : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar on Friday convened a meeting of concerned officers to finalise arrangements for the Panchayat Secretary Examination scheduled to be held on 10th of December in the district.
During the meeting, it was informed that 16144 candidates are expected to appear in the Panchayat Secretary examination at 44 centers across the District. For the smooth, free and fair conduct of the examination, 46 Magistrates, 44 Superintendents, 44 Observers and 620 invigilators are being deployed across the district.
Dr. Sehrish, during the meeting, directed concerned officers to meticulously inspect all examination centers and ensure essential facilities such as heating, drinking water, sanitation, proper lighting, and other amenities are in place for the seamless conduct of the Panchayat Secretary Examination.
The DC further issued directives to the concerned departments during the meeting to work in a coordinated and cohesive manner. The Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) has been directed to formulate a comprehensive route plan, enhancing logistical coordination. Additionally, the District Treasury Officer (DTO) has been instructed to install CCTV cameras at the Strong Room.
Moreover, the DC emphasized the importance of videography of examination material during the opening and closing procedures, reinforcing transparency and security measures for the Panchayat Secretary Examination. She also said that CrPC 144 will be imposed around the 200 Meters radius of every examination center on Exam day.
Meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Raina; Additional SP Baramulla, Divya Dev; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad; Sub Divisional Magistrate Pattan, Syed Faheem; Sub Divisional Magistrate Gulmarg, Syed Altaf; Chief Education officer, Balbir Singh Raina; Assistant Regional Transport Officer Baramulla, Muzzam Ali; District Treasury officer Baramulla, Shaziya Rasool and DSP HQ Sopore.
