DC B’gam reviews action taken on issues raised by people during Public Darbar

Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo on Friday chaired a meeting to review action taken on issues raised by general public during a public darbar chaired by Principal Secretary Dheeraj Gupta on October- 27 at Sheikh-ul-Alam Hall in Budgam.
During the meeting, the DC took issue wise review of action taken.
At the outset, the DC instructed officers to ensure timely completion and redressal of all actionable demands/ grievances projected by people of Budgam during the public darbar.
He impressed upon all concerned to ensure prompt public service delivery and redressal of genuine demands of the general public.
The DC said that the district administration is committed towards ensuring completion of developmental projects of the area in a time bound manner. He said all the suggestions of people which were duly recorded shall be strictly pursued for taking them to the logical end.
The meeting among others was attended by ADDC Budgam, Dr Akramullah Tak, ACD, CPO, SDM, CMO, CEO, Executive Engineers from different engineering wings, BDOs, Tehsildars, EOs and other concerned officers and officials.
It is apt to mention that the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has deployed the Administrative Secretaries to conduct Public Darbars in the assigned districts to hear and redress the grievances of the general public.
