Viksit Bharat Sanklap Yatra triumphs in Block Keller of Shopian

Shopian: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a transformative initiative on Thursday celebrated the successful culmination of its journey in the far-off block Keller in Shopian.
The events across the block, which were held from 26 to 29 November, garnered an overwhelming response witnessing a total of 40, 847 enthusiastic participation of people from diverse walks of life across 22 panchayats.
More than 4000 people shared feedback on government flagship schemes through Meri Kahani, Meri Zubaani.
Health Camps took center stage during the Yatra, with an impressive number of individuals undergoing screenings for prevalent health concerns including NCD and TB. A total of 4,622 people were screened for Tuberculosis, while 3,713 individuals were tested for sickle cell anemia, reflecting the commitment to holistic healthcare in the region.
In a bid to usher in advancements in agriculture, the events across the block showcased a remarkable drone demonstration for agricultural operations, emphasizing the transition towards smart and sustainable farming practices. This demonstration garnered significant attention, highlighting the potential for technology to revolutionize the agricultural landscape in Block Keller. 22 drone demonstrations were conducted.
Besides, 21 Abhinandan Parta of Har Ghar Jal (HGJ) were distributed during the Yatra in the block along with a saturation of 22 GPs with Ayushman Card saturation.
Similarly, recognizing the contributions of individuals and groups towards community development, Viksit Bharat Yatra honored local champions through awards in various categories. The Swachhta hi Seva award applauded efforts in promoting cleanliness and hygiene, while recognition for local entrepreneurship by women celebrated the spirit of women driving economic progress.
Additionally, school children were acknowledged for their achievements in essay and quiz competitions, nurturing a culture of education and intellectual growth.
