Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra: Ramban Admin mobilises IEC Van to promote flagship central scheme

Ramban: To ensure seamless reach of Central Government schemes to the farthest corners of the District, Ramban administration on Thursday flagged off an IEC van here from PanchayatMaitra-A as the part of the ongoing “Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra.” The outreach campaign being held under the aegis of Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-HaqChaudhary, is being conducted across the district.
Chairperson District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan, DDC Member, RenukaKatoch, SarpanchPanchayatMaitra-A, Mohinder Singh, PRIs and numerous other prominent people were present.
The programme started with the National Anthem followed by Viksit Bharat Sankalp (pledge) administered ADC HarbansLal to participants.
The Chairperson, and Deputy Commissioner along with other participants took part in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp rally to sensitize the people about the benefits of welfare and developmental schemes launched for their welfare.
It was informed that the IEC Van will traverse through the district according to a pre-defined schedule. A combo of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, the van aims to create public awareness about a myriad of Central Government schemes. With a sound system and digital LED screen on board, the van will showcase videos of Prime Minister’s addresses, testimonials from beneficiaries and informative clips to further enhance understanding.
The Yatra focuses on both urban and rural areas, spotlighting key schemes such as PM Svanidhi, PM VishwakarmaYojana, PM Mudra Yojana, PM UjjwalaYojana, Start up India, stand up India, Ayushman Bharat, PM AwasYojana, SBM, AMRUT, PM Bhartiya Jan AushidiPariyojana, UjjalaYojana, Digital Payment infrastructure, Khelo India, RCS:UDAN, and rural areas schemes like Ayushman Bharat PMJAY, PMGKAY, DAY-NRLM, PM AwasYojana Rural, PM UjjwalaYojana, PM KISAN Saman, KCC, PM PoshanAbhiyan, JJM and SVAMITVA.
Similar programme was also held in Panchayat Doligam Upper B, Chamalwas Lower A, Chamalwas Upper, Chaknerwah, Bankoot, Gundadalkoot B, Chawalwas Lower B and ThachiWagan in block Banihal
The officers expressed the significance of this initiative, saying that the primary objectives of the yatra include disseminating information, fostering awareness, and establishing direct interaction with beneficiaries.
They highlighted the role of the VBSY in achieving saturation of all schemes and enhancing awareness among the populace. This proactive approach signifies the dedication of the administration to ensuring comprehensive awareness, leaving no eligible individual uninformed about transformative government schemes.
The Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra stands as a testament to the commitment of the Government to inclusive development, ensuring that the benefits of its schemes reach every individual, contributing to the overall socio-economic landscape of the district.
Among the others, ADDC, Rajinder Sharma, ADC HarbansLal Sharma, ACD Ashok Katoch, GM DIC, Xen PWD and other officers, officials, PRIs and the public attended the event.
