VBSY Prog at Dradhu Doda marks resounding success in Community Empowerment, Welfare

Doda : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programme, an initiative aimed at holistic development and community welfare, recently made its mark in the Block Bhaderwah, of the Doda District. The programme witnessed an overwhelming response from residents, marking a significant step towards uplifting and empowering local communities.
The Yatra Rath (Mobile Van) rolled into Block Bhaderwah amidst a warm welcome by the local residents, setting the tone for a momentous occasion. The Prime Minister’s message and live address were relayed, resonating with the attendees, emphasizing the significance of community participation and collective progress.
One of the highlights of the event was “Aap ki Kahani Aap Ki zubani” (Your Story in Your Words), beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) shared their inspiring stories, reflecting on their journeys and the transformative impact of the scheme on their lives. Their narratives resonated deeply, serving as a testament to the tangible benefits and positive changes brought about by such initiatives.
Students who excelled in a quiz competition were felicitated, applauding their academic prowess and dedication towards learning. Additionally, the distribution of essential documents such as birth certificates, death certificates, revenue extracts, and sanction letters took place, ensuring easier access to vital paperwork for the residents.
The event was presided over by prominent officials, including Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) of Doda, Pran Singh, DDC Counselor of Badherwah West, Thakur Yudhvir Singh, and Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Chowdhary Dil Mir. Their presence added an aura of guidance and support, reaffirming the government’s commitment to grassroots development. ACD Phulail Singh, BDO Anoop Kumar, BMO, and various other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
Speaking about the event, Pran Singh, ADDC Doda, expressed his gratitude towards the active participation of the community and reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to inclusive growth and development.
The DDC Counselor of Badherwah West, Thakur Yudhvir Singh said Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programme is a government initiative focused on community development, welfare, and empowerment. It aims to reach the grassroots level, engaging with citizens to address their needs and facilitate access to essential services and resources for comprehensive development.
Similar programmes were reported from eleven other panchayats spreading in 11 Blocks across the district. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programmes stands as a testament to the collective efforts aimed at fostering prosperity, empowerment, and holistic progress within the local communities.
