Srinagar Admin organises public outreach Progunder “Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra”(VBSY) at Harwan

Citizens, Sarpanchs, BDCs, DDC members watch live streaming of PM’s interaction with Beneficiaries

DC stresses on reaching out to the uncovered citizens eligible under welfare schemes

Srinagar: As a part of ongoing “Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra”(VBSY) and Prime Ministers scheduled interaction with beneficiaries of VBSY, the District Administration Srinagar on Thursday organized a programme here at Nayabat Office in Harwan Block of Srinagar District.
The programme was participated by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Mohammad AijazAsad and the Officers of all line Departments.
While DDC Chairman Srinagar, Malik Aftab, members of DDC/BDC and other Panchayat Institutions were also present on the occasion.
During the programme, the participants watched the live interaction of the Prime Minister with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra from different parts of the country.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the people and PRI members and asked the officers to reach out to citizens eligible under various welfare schemes not yet covered, disseminating information, and fostering awareness about the Government sponsored public centric schemes.
Worth to mention that like other parts of the country, the programmes under Viksit Bharat SankalpYatra are going in full swing in Srinagar District in order to raise awareness and facilitate the delivery of welfare scheme benefits under Ayushman Bharat-PMJAY, PM GaribKalyan, PM AwasYojna, PM UjjwalaYojana, PM Vishwakarma, PM KisanSammanNidhi, Kisan Credit Card, PoshanAbhiyan, JalJeevan Mission, SVAMITVA, Jan DhanYojanaetc to reach the vulnerable population with the aim to generate awareness regarding the Central government’s welfare schemes and achieve 100% saturation of flagship schemes of the Government.
