Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said to have busted a LeT/TRF module at Tutigund Handwara forests in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district in a joint operation with Army and CRPF.
In a statement issued here on Thursday a police spokesman said that Handwara Police along with teams of Army and CRPF busted a militant module of LeT/TRF and recovered arms from Tutigund forest on the disclosure of militant associates Pervaiz Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Rustam Dar and Showkat Ahmad Shergujri son of Ghulam Mohammad Shergujri both residents of Tutigund Handwara.
In this regard, police said that a case under FIR number 264/2023 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Handwara and an investigation taken up.
