Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra gains momentum in Kupwara distt

18 more Panchayats of Teetwal, Ridi-Chowkibal blocks covered

Kupwara : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra(VBSY), a nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the Centre’s flagship schemes, has gained momentum in frontier Kupwara district.
On Wednesday, VBSY was held in 18 Panchayats of Teetwal and Redi-Chowkibal blocks of Kupwara district.
People in large numbers participated in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Panchayats of Ibkote, Jabdi, Prada, Sadipora (Dhani), Seemari, Taad of Teetwal Block, Budhnumbal Bala, Budhnumbal Payeen, Chowkibal- (Marsari- Rangwar),Gund Zonerishi, Hachamarg, Manchattar, Manzpathra, Panzgam A, Panzgam B, Panzgam C, Rawathpora, Reddi of Reddi Chowkibal Block.
VBSY- a groundbreaking initiative aimed at saturating the benefits of Central government schemes, witnessed enthusiastic response from PRI members locals and officers and field functionaries of different government departments who thronged the venues of the campaign despite shivering cold.
Participants listened keenly to the recorded message from the Prime Minister of India.
As part of the program, participants took the Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge, affirming their commitment to the nation’s holistic development.
SDM Karnah Dr .Gulzar Ahmad Rather on Wednesay visited far-off Bijaldhar – Jabdi Panchayat of Teetwal Block which is located close to the dividing line(LOC) and administered the Pledge to the participants. SDM also reviewed the winter preparedness from the concerned sub divisional level officers and field functionaries.
The Block Development Officer Raddi-Chowkibal , administered pledge to the participants at Boys High School Raddi. The participants, especially farmers, were excited on krishi Drone demonstration at Raddi-Chowkibal.
Jan Bhagidari events, including interaction with beneficiaries, celebration of achievements, health camps are forming an integral part of the ground activities.
Simultaneously, a vibrant display of cultural events presented by local artists enthralled the participants.
The schemes which were publicized in today’s VBSY include Ayushman Bharat, National Rural Livelihoods Mission, PM Awas Yojana (Rural), PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Vishwakarma, PM Kisan Saman; Kisan Credit Card (KCC), PM Poshan Abhiyan, Har Ghar Jal–Jal Jeevan Mission, Survey of villages and mapping with improvised technology in village areas (SVAMITVA), Jan Dhan Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.
Individual success stories were also presented into the Yatra where several beneficiaries presented “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani,” a testimony on transformation brought about by the government’s flagship schemes in their lives.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is the largest-ever outreach initiative of the Government of India, based on the vision of inclusive development.
