ADDC Shopian presides over Weekly Block Diwas at Imamsahib

Shopian : The Additional District Development Commissioner, Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone on Wednesday visited Imamsahib and listened to public issues and demands at weekly Block Diwas programme held at Imamsahib Shopian.
SDM, Zainapora, Mushtaq Ahmed, Tehsildar, Chitragam, Najam-Ud- Din, officers from line departments, a large number of people hailing from adjoining areas of Imamsahib, besides PRIs, attended the Block Diwas programme.
The people projected several demands and problems being faced by them. They demanded basic amenities which include uninterrupted power supply, inclusion of left out eligible families under PMAY, better drinking water facilities, road connectivity and other issues of public importance.
After listening to their demands and issues, the ADDC assured the PRIs and general public of the area that all their genuine issues would be addressed in a time bound manner.
He directed the officers to work in coordination so that equitable development of all the areas would be ensured.
The ADDC directed concerned officers to resolve the genuine demands of the public on priority and submit the detailed report of pending issues so that the same could be projected to higher authorities for consideration.
