Jammu: A series of delegations from the regions of Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, and Jammu recently called on Senior BJP Leader and Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Er. Gulam Ali Khatana, to bring to his attention the pressing issues faced by the local residents. The delegations emphasized concerns related to water scarcity, power supply, and damaged roads in their respective areas.
The delegations, comprising community leaders, representatives, and concerned citizens, expressed their distress over the persistent challenges impacting the daily lives of the residents. Issues such as inadequate water supply, erratic power distribution, and the deplorable condition of roads were highlighted as critical problems affecting the overall well-being and development of the regions.
MP Gulam Ali Khatana, acknowledging the gravity of the issues raised by the delegations, assured them of his commitment to addressing these concerns. The Senior BJP leader assured the delegations that he would actively engage with the relevant departments to bring about tangible solutions to the problems plaguing Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, and Jammu.
MP Khatana said, “I am deeply concerned about the challenges faced by the residents of Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, and Jammu. Access to basic amenities such as water and power, and the condition of roads are fundamental to the well-being and progress of any community. I assure the people of these regions that I will take up their concerns with the concerned departments and work towards finding comprehensive solutions.”
The Senior BJP leader urged the delegations to continue providing input and feedback to facilitate a more nuanced understanding of the issues at hand. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between the community and elected representatives to address challenges effectively and ensure sustainable development.
Khatana reiterated his commitment to representing the interests of his constituents in the Rajya Sabha and working tirelessly to improve the quality of life for the people of Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, and Jammu.
