DC reviews implementation of Holistic Agriculture Dev Plan in Udhampur

Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai on Tuesday led a comprehensive review of the achievements made under the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan in the district.
The meeting with officers from different departments was convened in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex.
Chief Agriculture Officer, Sanjay Anand, provided a detailed overview of achievements, explaining key areas such as plan implementation, beneficiary approvals, banking connections, convergence of activities, and the status of initiatives etc. Discussions also covered physical and financial progress, as well as the processing of online applications.
The DC emphasized the HADP’s role in establishing a robust and profitable agricultural ecosystem. Urging banks to expedite loan processes, she highlighted the initiative’s significance in supporting farmers.
Deputy Commissioner called upon departmental officers to ensure effective HADP implementation, aiming for the optimal benefit of farming communities.
Stressing the prompt approval of loans under allied department schemes, the DC emphasis on expeditious loan sanctioning reflects a proactive approach to meeting farmers’ financial needs and enhancing their well-being.
Officers were encouraged to analyze rejected applications and conduct awareness programs, showcasing a commitment to optimizing the benefits of the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan for Udhampur’s farmers.
