Srinagar|Nov, 28: Meteorological Department in it’s daily weather forecast on Tuesday said that light to moderate rain or snow would most likely be witnessed on 29th and 30th November in Jammu and Kashmir .
In a statement issued on Tuesday the Meteorological Department said “Generally cloudy weather with light to moderate rain/snow at fairly widespread places is likely to occur in J&K from November 29 to 30th”.
Meanwhile reports said that in Gulmarg and Pahalgam, the minimum temperature was at minus 0.2 and 1.2 respectively. Jammu recorded 11.1 degrees, Banihal 8.6, Batote 7.9, Katra 11 and Bhaderwah 5.6. In Ladakh the Leh City registered minus 1.1 degrees and Kargil at 0.9 as the minimum temperature, the MET department in it’s statement said, adding that “while the Sun rose at 7.16 a.m. in Srinagar, in Jammu it appeared at 7.12 a.m.”.
