Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra kick-starts in Distt Pulwama

Pulwama : In a momentous launch, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra embarked on its transformative journey in District Pulwama, radiating a fervent commitment to National development.
Unfolding across 10 Panchayat Halqas in 5 blocks of the district, this initiative signals the commencement of an extensive program dedicated to empowering local communities.
The event resonated with enthusiasm as locals gathered around screens, absorbing a recorded message from the Prime Minister of India, setting the tone for the campaign. Participants embraced the Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge, solidifying their commitment to contributing to the holistic progress of the nation.
Following the pledge, a movie showcasing the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra added an extra layer of inspiration, depicting the journey and its impact.
The session on Satat Krishi activities included a demonstration of soil health card procedures, and an interaction with progressive farmers on Natural farming.
Adding vibrancy, cultural performances provided a platform for participants to showcase their talents. The day’s highlight featured felicitations and rewards for achievers who have significantly contributed to their communities.
Beneficiaries of various schemes shared their stories through “Meri Kahani, Meri Zubani,” while local artists, SHG members, and students brought festivity through performances under “Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke” and Swachata Songs. The cultural shows were further enhanced by the performance of local folk, including “LaddiShah”, shedding light on various issues through stage performances.
The Yatra zeroed in on saturating various government schemes, providing on-the-spot services such as a health camp, TB screening, Ayushman card generation, PM Ujjawala enrollment, and updation. The emphasis on immediate implementation aimed to deliver the benefits of flagship schemes directly to the citizens.
Throughout the Yatra, flagship schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana, Urea Subsidy Scheme, and others were showcased. This event stands as a comprehensive platform to inform, engage, and empower communities for the collective progress of the nation.
