Empowering Minds: DLSA, GBHSS B’gam celebrate Constitution Day, raise Constitutional awareness

Budgam: In a vibrant and enlightening celebration of Constitution Day, the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Budgam, in collaboration with Government Boys Hr. Sec. School (GBHSS) Budgam, gathered for an impactful event at the Legal Literacy Club of the school.
Jahangir Bakshi, Secretary DLSA, Budgam was the chief guest in the event while Rajinder Kour, Principal of the School was guest of honour. The event was organized under the guidance and supervision of Chairman DLSA (PDJ) Budgam, Khalil Ahmad Choudhary.
The event witnessed an assembly of distinguished individuals, including Shahrooq Bhat (Deputy Legal Aid Defense Counsel Budgam), and Abdul Rouf Paray (Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel Budgam), who served as valuable resource persons.
The participation of the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff of the institute, staff members of DLSA, Budgam, alongside the enthusiastic engagement of para-legal volunteers and the vibrant student community, added layers of enthusiasm and knowledge sharing to the commemoration.
In his special remarks Secretary Jahangir Bakshi, emphasized and highlighted the intrinsic significance of Constitution Day, underscoring its pivotal goals and relevance in shaping a just and equitable society.
Rajinder Kour, Principal of the institute in her remarks laid emphasis on the importance of Constitutional Day. In her speech she also made it clear beyond any doubt to the students the importance of constitutional knowledge in the career of the students and also the legal history behind the constitutional day.
Shahrooq Bhat and Abdul Rouf Paray shed light on the paramount importance of the constitution and eloquently expounded upon the profound goals outlined in its Preamble.
A beautiful moment transpired as all participants joined together in a symbolic gesture of unity, collectively reading the Preamble of the Constitution, paying a heartfelt tribute to the guiding principles that bind the nation together.
