Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra commences across all ULB wards of B’pora

IEC Van receives warm welcome from locals, traverses along different wards

Bandipora : The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was Wednesday successfully rolled out across all the Municipal Committees/Council of District Bandipora with much enthusiasm and fervor.
Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, a community-centric initiative, to foster growth and awareness regarding various centrally sponsored schemes, received an overwhelming response from the local populace of the district.
At Bandipora, locals accorded warm welcome to Nodal Officer IEC Campaign for district Bandipora, Bilal Ahmad Mir, who reached the venue with the IEC Van. Among others, JD Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, locals, prominent citizens, beneficiaries, and a galaxy of youth including students were also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, an overwhelming response was witnessed from the locals who gathered around IEC Van and enthusiastically listened to the recorded message from the Prime Minister of India regarding the campaign.
During the program, Viksit Sankalp Bharat pledge was also administered to all the participants who pledged for the overall development of the Nation.
On the occasion, a series of cultural events were presented by the students of Girls Higher Secondary School Bandipora depicting rich Kashmiri culture.
It was given out that during the yatra, several schemes including Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM PRANAM Yojana and Urea Subsidy Scheme will be showcased.
Later, the IEC Van traversed along the different wards of MC Bandipora to disseminate information and awareness regarding these schemes and to make aware the masses about procedures to avail them.
The IEC Van serves as a mobile platform for disseminating vital information, conducting awareness campaigns and facilitating interactive sessions with residents.
Similarly, the yatra commenced in two other municipal committees of the district viz. MC Sumbal and MC Hajin.
At Sumbal, an overwhelming response was witnessed from the locals who welcomed the IEC Van. ADDC Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, along with ARTO Bandipora, who is also the nodal officer for the campaign for the district, was also present on the occasion.
On the occasion, the ADDC said that the collaborative spirit exhibited by residents and local authorities reflects a collective determination to build a more vibrant and empowered community.
At Hajin, the event started by welcoming the IEC (Information, Education and Communication) Van followed by the Viksit Bharat pledge taken by participants, including government functionaries besides citizens of the region.
Stalls installed by different departments were inspected by officers to showcase the services and facilities being provided to the people.
