Ganderbal : The Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani on Wednesday presided over a public darbar in Safapora, as part of the Government’s weekly Bock Diwas programme.
Active participation from PRI members and various Safapora block delegations characterized the program, where they informed the ADDC about crucial developmental requirements in their respective areas.
During the proceedings of Block Diwas, PRIs and locals raised a number of grievances and general demands related to playfield, better roads, augmentation of water and power supply and other issues of public importance.
The ADDC gave a patient hearing to all issues and grievances raised at the event. While underscoring district development activities, he emphasized the District Administration’s relentless efforts to ensure the provision of facilities to people in all district blocks.
Simnani pledged prompt and quality resolution of genuine issues and provided on-the-spot directions for urgent matters within the competence of relevant departments.
The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr. Bashir Ahmad, District Lead Bank Manager, Tehsildar Lar, DSWO, PRIs, and officials from various line departments.
