Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra: DC B’pora reviews preparations for rolling out awareness campaign across distt

Bandipora : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad Saturday conducted a comprehensive review of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) in Gurez Sub Division of the district and reviewed the preparations for rolling out the campaign in rest of the Blocks and ULBs of the District.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, ACP Bandipora, ACR Bandipora, JDP, Tehsildars, BDOs, besides all the concerned officers from Agriculture, Education, LDM, district administration and sub division Gurez.
During the meeting, the DC examined the progress and impact of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in the Gurez region.
The DC was informed that the yatra is going on with much enthusiasm in different panchayats of the sub-division Gurez. It was given out that the Information dissemination and awareness regarding various centrally sponsored schemes is in full swing through the medium of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) Van.
SDM Gurez informed the chair that the yatra is receiving an overwhelming response from the locals. He said that people are being educated regarding different welfare schemes and procedures to avail benefits from these schemes.
Dr Owais expressed satisfaction with the ongoing efforts and reiterated the commitment of the district administration towards fostering holistic development within the region.
Meanwhile, the DC also reviewed the arrangements being made for the second phase of the Yatra in rest of the blocks and ULBs within the district. He directed concerned authorities to ensure the efficient utilization of resources, timely execution of planned activities, and transparent communication with the public and smooth travel of the IEC Van across all the Panchayats and ULB Wards.
He also emphasized on saturation of all beneficiary oriented schemes in the district.
The DC directed for cooperation among various executing agencies towards organising a successful yatra.
The concerned were asked to follow the finalised route plan of the IEC Van in close coordination with ARTO Bandipora.
