NHM Employees Association Doda organizes blood donation camp

Doda : National Health Mission (NHM) Employees under the banner of All J&K NHM Employees Association District Unit Doda on Friday organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Associated Hospital, Government Medical College Doda.
The event was organized in association with District Administration Doda, Government Medical College Doda and District Health Society Doda.
The inauguration of the event was graced by Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, along with Principal GMC Doda, Dr. Puja Vimesh, CMO Doda Dr Ab Hamid Zargar, MS AH GMC Doda, Dr. Tanveer Ahmed, HOD Pathology GMC Doda, Dr. Sumat ul Khurshid, BMO Ghat, Dr. Ab Gafoor Ahmed, President NHM Union Doda, Dr. Nasir Masood Indrabi and others.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC urged the people to donate blood voluntarily as it is a great service to humanity and helps in saving precious lives.
While lauding the contribution of blood donors, the DC Doda acknowledged the remarkable dedication and humanitarian spirit displayed by the NHM Employees of the health department for their life-saving contributions.
The President NHM Association Doda, Dr. Nasir Masood, who was also among the blood donors, informed that it is for the first time in J&K, such event of blood donation by NHM employees has been held, which depicts their dedicated services rendered in the department besides benevolent and noble gesture for the cause of humanity.
The NHM Association members stressed that every healthy person should come forward and donate their blood for this noble cause to increase the blood capacity in our health system.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner Doda, along with other dignitaries, gave away certificates of appreciation to all donors as a part of their encouragement.
Principal GMC Doda Dr Puja Vimesh expressed gratitude to NHM Employees Association Doda , all the distinguished guests, dedicated staff of Blood Bank and the generous blood donors for their presence and participation, emphasizing the profound impact their contribution would have on saving lives.
The members of NHM Union Doda and the staff of Blood Bank AH GMC Doda offered their dedicated services in management and in making the camp successful.
