Shopian: In a first of its kind Laparoscopic assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy (LAVH) was on Wednesday conducted at DH Shopian.
The procedure was conducted by consultant Gynaecologist Dr Basharat Pandit, Dr Iqbal and assisted by Fayaz Ahmad, Majid and Nasir Ahmed, Anesthesia team led by Dr Atif and Dr Irfan.
All logistic support was provided by MS DH Shopian, Dr Rubeena Maqbool.
Whole procedure (including medication) was done free of cost under the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
