Arrangements for VBSY finalised by Central Prabhari Officer, Distt Admin at B’gam

Budgam: The Director, Ministry of Mines, Muhstaq Ahmad, who is also Prabhari Officer for District Budgam on Wednesday, reviewed the arrangements for the smooth and successful conduct of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) in the district.
In this regard, the Prabhari Officer chaired a meeting at Conference Hall, Budgam, wherein action plan and preparations were discussed threadbare with all stakeholders.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prabhari Officer stressed on making adequate arrangements and ensuring successful conduct of yatra for better mobilization and reaching out to all left outs to cover them under welfare schemes. He instructed officers to take it in a mission mode manner and make best use of the 20 day window.
Prabhari Officer further said that aim is to ensure saturation in all schemes for development of every segment of the society.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Budgam, Akshay Labroo briefed the chair about the overall implementation of all centrally sponsored schemes and preparations and department wise arrangements being put in place to saturate schemes in the District.
In order to create massive awareness of schemes and reach out to every unreached, the DC said that a Digital Van would traverse across the panchayats and municipal wards of the District, delivering the Prime Minister’s message and hosting promotional events.
He said that the objective of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is to reach out to all the sections of the society, eligible under various schemes.
The ARTO Budgam was directed to supervise the implementation of route plan for IEC vans which shall traverse in all panchayats and municipal wards while as the RDD officers were directed to identify the beneficiaries, students with exemplary performance for their felicitation.
The DC said that a control room at the district level has been established for overall monitoring at the district level by the concerned Nodal officer.
The District Informatics Officer-NIC shall upload the success stories of beneficiaries on the Viksit Bharat Portal.
The officers were directed to work in complete synergy and ensure completion of given assignments for successful conduct of the yatra.
Besides, ADDC Budgam, Dr. Akhramullah Tak; JD Planning, CEO, CMO, ACD, all SDMs, other District Officers, all Tehsildars, all BDOs, all EOs were present in the meeting.
