DC inspects key tourism potential localities, roads in Bhaderwah Valley

Doda: To assess the availability of local infrastructure, Harvinder Singh, District Development Commissioner Doda, on Saturdayundertook a comprehensive tour of Bhaderwah and inspected assets created by Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA) at key tourist spots in the area.
The focal points of the inspection tour were the Tourist Convention Centre Tilligarh Resort, YatriNiwas building, Gupt Ganga Temple, Vasuki Nag Temple, and the surrounding roads.
During the inspection, the DDC was accompanied by ADC BhaderwahChowdharyDil Mir, CEO of BDA BalKrishan, ACD Phulail Singh, Tehsildar, BDO and other prominent figures. The DDC exhorted for ensuring the vital tourist facilities are well-maintained and equipped to cater to the needs of residents and visitors alike.
The team examined the Tourist Convention Center, emphasizing its role as a potential hub for tourism activities. YatriNiwas, Gupt Ganga Temple, and Vasuki Nag Temple were also visited, and directions were passed to maintain their sanctity, safety, cleanliness for religious and tourism purposes.
Furthermore, the inspection extended to the external and internal roads to assess their condition and identify any areas requiring immediate attention. The proactive approach by the District Administration underscores its commitment to foster a conducive environment for both residents and tourists in Bhaderwah.
Harvinder Singh emphasized the importance of regular inspection of the assets by the concerned officers to ensure that the vital facilities are well-maintained and able to meet the growing demands of the community.
