Srinagar: The Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK) Saturday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the fire incident at famous Dal Lake in which Five Houseboats gutted and many huts were partially damaged.
President CCIK Tariq Rashid Ghani with Office Bearers visited the affected houseboats owners at Dal Lake and assured full support to the houseboats owners. Assured that the immediate compensation and rehabilitation will be taken up with the higher authorities.
Tariq Ghani has also appealed to the LG Administration to visit the gutted Houseboats and take the comprehensive assessment of the losses suffered.
Besides, All The Members of CCIK stand with the affected families in this hour of their grief and also appeal to the LG Administration for immediate compensation, issue permissions on priority basis for reconstruction of these gutted houseboats at the earliest.
