Kupwara: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Altaf Ahmad Khan Saturday convened a meeting, here to review and strategize the arrangements for the upcoming ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’.
In a threadbare discussion held in the meeting, the ADDC impressed upon all the officers for smooth conduct of the Yatra, which primarily aims at ensuring the effective execution of the Central Sponsored Schemes.
The ARTO Kupwara was directed to chart out route plan for IEC vans which shall traverse in all the 385 panchayats of Kupwara district.
Meanwhile, it was given out in the meeting that each District Officer will identify one beneficiary of Centrally Sponsored Scheme focused for IEC during Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in every Panchayat for recording their success stories. The identification of the beneficiary, with complete address and contact details, have to be furnished by Monday.
The District Informatics Officer-NIC shall upload the success stories of beneficiaries on the Viksit Bharat Portal in coordination with the District Information Officer after the approval of the District Level Committee.
The fundamental objective of the Viksit Bharat Yatra is to reach out to the vulnerable sections of the society, eligible under various schemes but yet to benefit owing to lack of awareness about these schemes.
Emphasizing the imperative need for collaborative efforts, the ADDC directed all the stakeholders to work in synergy, aiming for the seamless implementation of the ambitious initiative.
The meeting was attended by JD Planning, Abdul Majeed; ACR Kupwara, Irfan Bahadur; ACD, Hilal Ahmad Mir; DIO, Iftakhar Naseem; ARTO, Anees Wani and other concerned officials from NIC and Planning.
