2nd round of B2V-5 begins in 114 Panchayats of Kupwara

150 VOs imparted training for 3rd round of B2V-5 prog

Kupwara: The second round of the mega public outreach programme ‘Back to Village edition 5, (B2V5)’ started on Friday in 114 Panchayats of Kupwara district.
Despite fresh snowfall at upper reaches like Sadna pass, Z- Gali of Machil, Back to Village programme is being held in Karnah, and Machil areas as Visiting Officers have already reached these areas.
During the programme, Gram Sabhas for formulation of GPDP, public grievances redressal camps, plantation drive and other activities are being held.
Public is enthusiastically participating in the Back to Village programme and expressing their views and feedback over the work done by the various departments.
The Visiting Officers chaired Gram Sabhas, Bal Sabhas and Mahila Sabhas and administered the pledge against drug menace.
Meanwhile, District Administration Kupwara on Friday organized a training programme at Town Hall Kupwara for Visiting Officers/Prabharis deputed for B2V-5 (round 3rd).
Training programme was presided over by ACD Kupwara, Hilal Ahmad Mir.
As many as 150 Visiting Officers for 150 Panchayats of Kupwara district under (round 3rd) on Friday attended the training programme.
Highlighting the objectives of ‘Back to Village-5 programme, the ACD Kupwara stressed upon the Visiting Officers to take feedback on digital services and listen and engage with the local community, understand local issues, understand the specific challenges and issues faced by the village, such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, and agriculture, and collaborate and note down all issues faced by the people in particular Panchayat.
ACD impressed upon Visiting Officers to visit schools, AWCs, CSC and check the quality of development works.
