Srinagar : SKUAST-K, KVK Budgam in Collaboration with NSP Shalimar and Division of GPB Waduraon Wednesdaydistributed oats seed under HADP Project (Development of fodder resources for UT of Jammu and Kashmir) and under Tribal sub plan [AICRP on seed (crops)] among farmers of GariandHaripora Haran and tribal farmers of Ringzabal village of District Budgam.
Speaking on the occasion, Programme Coordinator KVK Budgam Dr. Bilal A. Lone assured the farmers to provide all scientific and technical knowledge to boost the fodder production in the District. Dr. Gowhar Ali (Assistant Professor, NSP, SKUAST-K) stressed the farmers on adoption of scientific methods of fodder Production so that the farmers generate more income and helps them to improve their livestock. Dr. SabiaAkhter (SMS Agronomy) awared the farmers about package of practices of Oats crop and stressed them to strictly follow the same for better productivity.
