Valedictory function of Skill Dev Training conducted by Govt. Polytechnic Jammu

SMVDSB employees complete 6-day training at Govt Polytechnic Jammu

Jammu : To augment and strengthen the skills of the employees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Katra, a six day training Programme on “Basic Computer Skills” was organised at Government Polytechnic College Jammu Oct 30,2023 to Nov 4, 2023.
On the concluding day on Saturday a valedictory function was organised and training certificates were presented to the employees by Sudershan Kumar, Director Skill Development Department J&K and Er. ArunBangotra.
The Director Skill Development Department interacted with the trainees and congratulated the Principal and his staff for organizing such training for up-skilling the employees of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) Katra. He talked of the human eco-system which can be strengthened through the provision of appropriate skills relevant to the present scenario as per industry 4.0.
During the training Er Sanjay Koul HOD Computer Engg briefed the employees about Basic Computer Skill, Microsoft Office, Basic of Internet etc.
Ved Paul Instructor provided hands-on training to the employees of SMVDSB on various applications, software, tricks used in Microsoft Office Word, Excel Power Point etc.
On the concluding day, a visit was organised to Centre for Invention, Innovation, Incubation and Training (CIIIT) Jammu to gain first-hand experience of latest technologies, established at CIIIT Jammu.
The employees of the SMVDSB thanked the college administration for providing excellent training to enrich their knowledge.
Others present on the occasion were Er. Inderjeet Singh Workshop Superintendent, Er Sukhdeep Singh HOD Civil Engineering Department, Er. Raj Kumar HOD Mechanical Engg, Er. Sanjay Koul HOD Computer Engg, Er. Manjeet Singh H.O.D Electrical Engineering Department,Er. Jasdeep Kour HOD I&C,  Sandeep Nimbalkar Programme Director CIIIT Jammu and officer of Skill Development Department.
