Rajouri: In continuation to a number of activities being organised in the district as a part of Vigilance Awareness Week, the district administration Rajouri, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner VikasKundal, organized a significant program here in the Conference Hall of the PWD DakBunglow.
The centerpiece of the event was a detailed discussion on the guidelines prescribed by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) and CTE.
The Central Vigilance Commission plays a vital role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and integrity in government operations. Its guidelines are a cornerstone for promoting ethical conduct and preventing corruption in the public sector.
During the threadbare discussion, participants delved into the core principles of the CVC guidelines. These guidelines are designed to foster a culture of vigilance and emphasize the importance of adherence to ethical standards in public service. They encompass a wide range of aspects, including procurement procedures, financial management, project execution, and overall administrative practices.
The discussion highlighted the significance of proactively identifying and addressing corruption risks. The CVC guidelines emphasize the need for preventive vigilance, where organizations should actively work towards minimizing the potential for corrupt practices.
