‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ celebrated across all 806 Aanganwadi centres in B’pora

Bandipora:: RashtriyaEktaDiwas, was Tuesday celebrated across all the 806 Aanganwaricentres of district Bandipora.
District Programme Officer, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak while giving details said that the National Unity Day was celebrated with much fervour and enthusiasm in all the AnganwadiCentres of the district.
He informed that the celebrations in the centres commenced with the administering of unity pledge to all Aanganwadi workers who solemnly pledged to dedicate themselves for preserving the unity, integrity, and security of the nation and also strive hard to spread this message among fellow countrymen.
Furthermore, a series of activities were held as part of celebrations including awareness regarding balanced diet, proper hygiene besides awareness regarding different welfare schemes for women folk.
Earlier, as part of EktaDiwas celebration, ‘Run for Unity’ was also organised in different Aanganwadicentres.
