6 killed 8 injured in Karnah road accident

Srinagar: At least six persons died while eight others were injured after a vehicle fell in a gorge at Nawagabra area of Karnah in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday.
An official said that the vehicle skidded off the road and fell in a gorge, resulting in the death of six people.
He said that 10 others travelling in the vehicle also suffered injuries in the incident. He said that of the 10 injured persons, another person succumbed to his injuries.
A health official said that all the injured were referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, a police official said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard
