Srinagar : To mark the vigilance awareness week, a pledge ceremony was held at Police Headquarters here on Monday.
According to a statement issued from Police Media Centre, PHQ J&K Srinagar, AIG (Training/Policy) PHQ, J.S Johar administered the pledge to the officers and personnel of Police Headquarters.
The officers and personnel took the pledge to promote ethical business practices and foster a culture of honesty and integrity and not to offer or accept bribes. They pledged to adhere to relevant laws, rules and compliance mechanism in the conduct of business, adopt a code of ethics for all employees, sensitize employees of law, regulations, etc. relevant to their work for honest discharge of their duties.
They also pledged to provide grievance redressal and whistle blower mechanism for reporting grievances and fraudulent activities, protect the rights and interests of stakeholders and the society at large and commit to good corporate governance based on transparency, accountability and fairness.
