Srinagar : To eradicate the corruption and to oppose all forms of corruption, Police on the occasion of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ facilitated pledge taking ceremonies at all the police establishments across the Kashmir Zone.
According to a statement issued from Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar, the pledge functions were held simultaneously at all the District Police headquarters as well as Police establishments. During the functions, pledge was administrated to all the officers & officials by the respective District SSsP& concerned supervisory officers.
During the ceremonies, all the officers/jawans pledged to work with zeal in maintaining highest standards of integrity, transparency and good governance besides, eradicate corruption and oppose all forms of corruption. Moreover, it was also pledged neither to offer nor to accept bribe, rather foster a culture of honesty and integrity.“`
